Hello everyone, thanks for allowing me to join you all here on your lovely site.  I'll try to keep this into short - which may be a bit difficult, since (as indicated by the title) I'm a Gemini sun, Gemini moon with Gemini ascending....so I tend to be a bit wordy! My name is Victoria. This isn't the name I was given by my parents, but one I chose for myself. My original name was one of what Linda Goodman called "heavy karma" and it was too heavy indeed. I chose this new name to represent overcoming a difficult past. So far, so good. Many years ago now I was given a copy of "Star Signs" and immediately grasped quite a bit of the thread of truth and wisdom that ran through it - some were things I seemed to have been born knowing, others that I should have known, but had never been properly taught. Some other things took many more years of experience to even approach understanding. I am still in the process of trying to learn and understand (and probably always will be - but that's okay.) Life and the world are so mysterious, there are wonders to be found every day. Thanks again for having me.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I've learned a lot by reading the board (it was so exciting to find so much knowledge in one place!) and hopefully will be able to contribute some good things too. This has been a place of comfort to visit when waking up in the middle of the night full of existential questions and worries, There is always something new to think about here. By the way, is there any place on the board where there are instructions for posting? I'm not sure how to quote or reply to specific posts here and want to make sure things end up in the right place. Yep. Wow, Ami Anne, you have a lot of Gemini in your chart! My Venus is in Cancer, though, as well as Mars.(that Mars in Cancer giver me a bit of trouble, I'm afraid.) Glad to meet another Gemini. I have Mars in cancer, too. What is your ASC? Mine is Scorpio? Do you have Sun, moon and ASC in Gemini. You didn't answer  ------------------

Oh, yes, I have all three in Gemini.
I don't have much understanding of astrology and making charts myself, but a couple of relatives have drawn up my charts and said the my Mars is in a difficult position ("in fall"...I'm not quite sure what that means)So I'm not sure if every Mars in Cancer is difficult, or just in this specific case. (sorry for my ignorance, I really should do more studying - I'm terrible with charts and numbers though.)
