Okay if you want to ask a horary question so we can have fun and practice here are the guidelines.1. Before you ask the ques. out loud formulate the ques very specifically in your mind first.
(do you want to know how, which is different than will, which is different from can...get it?). 2.Keep it simple. 3.Ask the question out loud and write down the exact time and date, and place. 4.Go to astrodienst fill out chart info and post it here. IP: Logged |

Can I start pleeeease? I am desperately wanting to know what it is I need to do to be able to creatively become inspired again and artistically produce. It's been really hard for me to get out of my artistic rut! I know for transits that t Saturn is conjunct my Sun exactly, but it's just extremely hard to get any of the work done that I NEED to do in order to feel satisfied with my life.
SO here's the horary chart :  I'm all yours, good girl...

You know what's funny is that I was thinking about asking when/what month I would be moving back to CA too, since this ties in to the creativity thing. Doesn't the moon in the 4th in horary mean a 'return' to a place if we were to be asking about relocation? I should've asked about my love life too! Look at that Venus there in the 7th  Does Venus correlate to creativity in the case of my question? It's in my 7th...she should be in the 5th, damn her! She's all cozy with Neptune, idealizing relationships.

MVM, I think you need to ask a question that can be answered with a yes or no answer and if I'm not mistaken, the house system needs to be Regiomontaus. I am just scratching the surface with horaries but I will try LOL.------------------

Okay, the ruler of Asc, sun is in cap. in 5th.
See how well that relates to the ques. 5th=creativity, cap=for work related The sun is conj pluto and mars (which is in sagg. in 5th) You know what is funny MVM, is that I would say that reads get the anger flowing and the creativity follows! (I remember your chart.)
Also mars rulers 9th, pluto rules 4th. So here's how the answer reads to me:
Get mars energy going in travel (mars rules 9th)(also mars in sagg=travel)
Get pluto/transformation energy going in the home (pluto rules the 4th) Now isn't that funny because you mentioned moving??
So what do you think?? I'm still new to horary but it seems to me it related very well to your situation. IP: Logged |

Maybe the 1st only shows the mind of the person asking the ques, and should look at the 5th as the house of creativity to see what energy is needed to get the flow going. In which case I would say travel because of the sagg. on the cusp. Which I guess would then read pretty much the same. ...I'm a virgo rising I could analyze this a hundred times over before I'm done... IP: Logged |

Sorry it took me some time to answer. What's this about anger? That is odd, I have been extremely angry that I haven't been able to produce creatively and artistically because I have had to deal with so much of other people's emotional baggage until I took it in as my own, hopped on a plane, dropped it off in another country, and then came back 9 months later realizing that I need to move AGAIN to follow the creative urge!!!!
So yeah, that's pretty articulate.

Swirl-kitt, that's your natal chart, not horary. For your question, you'd need to do a whole separate chart to test out the horary.But at first glance from your chart, I'd say: You are the moon (Cancer rising), and it's in the 10th, in Aries. Follow your intuition, because it seems to be right on target most of the time.
With a moon in the 10th, and MC in Pisces, you're more plugged in than you realize.
But some part of you wants things to be somehow rational and secure, even if there's no rational explanation. It looks like there's almost always a good pay-off when you trust yourself. But at times you doubt what you already know in your bones to be true, and hold yourself back without realizing it.
Your self-confidence seems to only suffer when you don't listen to your instincts.
Things happen in waves for you and part of the theme is trust - to let it happen and surrender, because your inner navigation system is highly developed (also, looking at the NN in the 12th.). It just needs reassurance from time to time that it's really working  Does that make sense? Am I completely off?

So what chart is it then, where can I find it ? MVM- That was very good actually I always feel much better when I listen to my instincts, but I also feel like I don't have much control over that part of me, which also happens to rule my emotions. Maybe I should have asked- How can I have more control over my emotions/moods without scaring away my instincts ? But thanks a lot that was really great ! IP: Logged |

Swirl, you know how to do a natal chart in astro.com, right? The horary is simply that. You formulate the question in your mind very clearly first, and then make a natal chart for it in astro.com...as though it were a person. Just make sure to put in the exact time of 'birth' .

After reading these posts I went to the links Zala posted and started to investigate horary astrology. I understand a lot more, but at the same time I am very confused. It seems very difficult to get an answer from a question.
Are there any horary experts that can help me?
Good girl, I think you're right. From what I read the interpretation is very different from a natal chart.

That having been said here is how I read the chart:
You are represented by the 1st house/leo, which is ruled by the sun.
We find the sun in capricorn which is the sign of a teacher. Saturn is then the dipositer of the sun, and is in the 1st (=you as teacher)and is in a trine (favorable)aspect to a mercury/juptier (teaching).So I would thinkk the answer is yes.
The only thing that kind of bothers me is the opposition saturn (you)recieves from uranus (ruler of 7th).I wonder if there is someone invloved who isn't for this? But it is a seperating aspect with saturn leaving uranus, so I don't think it will pose a problem.
Do you mind telling me what kind of teaching? I wonder with all the emphasis on capricorn if it is a capricorn subject.Feedback welcomed!! IP: Logged |

Okay I have one:
Will this person send me a Valetines Day gift?I am the Moon and Mercury and the guy is Jupiter.
Moon will apply conjunction to him but will conjunct Merucry first.
Mercury and Jupiter will apply conjunct too.
The gift is probably the 2nd house, the Moon.
Moon is applying conjunction to my significator but I am worried of how weak we both are. Maybe he will but I won't like the gift???
