I'm not sure I understand the question, parents aren't usually the rival of their children. Usually for rivalry that would be a sibling.
But briefly here is what I do see.
In your father's chart the ruler of his children's house(5th) is in the 12th, and opposite neptune. This means you confuse him, he finds you difficult to understand, as a result one of you may avoid the other.
I would say it is you who decieves the father (because of neptune/12).That same ruler is conj. venus (which also happens to be his ruler) so he loves you very much. As it rules the 1st, I would say he probably sees himself in you. Or you could say that you are living out the qualities that he himself has difficulty expressing and dealing with. (Your sun is pisces representing the same stuff as his sun in 12th).
Your chart shows mars (ruler of your 10/father) conj saturn (natural ruler of the father) in capricorn (sign of the father), oppositing the Asc. Whew! You definitely have trouble in relating to your father, although, here too venus is conj these planets, showing your love for your father.
Looks like he both pushes too hard but also restricts too hard.
I see part of the problem in your chart as the mother being a behind the scenes influence in your chart. (cancer in the 12th)Your moon opposites mercury, your mother very heavily colors your thinking.Jupiter is currently passing over your mars and will soon pass over your venus. First of all since this is in the 7th house you may either find your self with more freedom from a commited relationship or if you don't have one may find yourself in one. This can also show jupiter things entering your life, higher education, travel, foreigner,etc. And since uranus has been going back and forth over your sun in the 9th, you may find yourself suddenly or disruptively faced with things concening these issues.
Saturn has also been hitting your sun (by opposition) which can mean a time to form yourself/your identy. Also a time to take up more responsibility, which if you don't may manifest itself physically since saturn rules your health house.
