OH YEAH! leo wants to comvinvce taurus of something at any cost and taurus shows no sign of budging. the more leo tries to argue with taurus about something, the more stubborn taurus gets. but the interesting thing here is usually they both have a solid point. its just that fixed signs that they are, they do not see the other person's point of view.

I have to disagree
I am a leo merc opp jup aqu which squares mars in taurus and my asc is squared by merc and I can and do listen to people,I may not budge on my own opinion but I generally do hear what is being said,if it makes sense I'll accept it,if it doesn't I will hold strong on to what I believe

gemini's are by far the most amusing to watch because they don't care who hears

sagittarius annoys me coz they'll go one way one minute and completely change opinions the next

I was just having a debate yesterday about the word CRITIQUE-critiquing someone's work. Anyway, he kept going and going just to get attention until I finally said: "Arguing with a fool only proves there are two!" End of story.

He was a Leo, I'm a Taurus moon.

I am the spawn of such a union.

They also have Mars OPP Mars.

They do argue about politics. And pretty much everything.

iv got no taurus in my chart, but if i believe i am right, i will never back down from an argument, unless what i know is so true, i won't even bother. i like arguments though.

i don't care if the other person agrees with my opinion, for me, i have won the argument when they can't prove me wrong, and when im proving there poin't wrong and they arn't responding.

some people will say things, but to me its just another way of giving up.

Aries against bull= aries probably dies of boredom while bull debates with the speed of molasses

bull against bull= ever see 2 brick walls debate?

gemini against bull=will think he is debating bull when really he's just debating himself

cancer against bull= after the emotional toll of it all, will give bull a hug only to nag again another day.

virgo against bull=will leave feeling she at least did her duty in pointing out the better way and if bull doesn't want to improve....

libra against bull=sounds more like they're agreeing

scorpio against bull= will write him off as inconsequential or just take him out later..

sagittarius against bull= enjoys the whole thing as a good time had by all.

capricorn against bull= is practical enough to know not to waste his time.

aquarius against bull= utimately appriciates the diffences of opinions that make the world go round.

pisces against bull=is so lofty and confusing that bull doesn't even realize there is a debate.

Only our leo with his majestic arrogance and superior idea feels that not only can he change bull but that it is his divine right that bull should know his place as inferior! But after all is said and done each will walk away, bull knowing he stood his ground, and leo thinking that the fool will eventually see the error of his ways...

I think mars placements have a lot to do with it too. My libra mars negates my ability to debate well. Although I am stubborn as a get out, I don't always argue well, and see both sides of the arguement and my libra mars is so...live and let live...

leo sun, moon, taurus asc.

"virgo against bull=will leave feeling she at least did her duty in pointing out the better way and if bull doesn't want to improve...."

Sigh

What kills me about her is that she always does her duty, erverything about her is 100% perfect in such an imperfect way and manner and above all she is ALL WOMAN.

I hate her so much to the extent of LOVE

I had to see for myself:

Jeremy Paxman vs. (Sag) Ann Coulter

OK, here's the proposed battle royale:

Taurus Jeremy Paxman Vs. Leo George Galloway

Libra rules law and therefore politics to some degree.

I agree with your sentiments on arguing. I also challenge people to prove me wrong.

Actually, what's interesting is that Taurus' are perhaps the only sign I can have an argument with where I'm not too vested in driving points home. Towards me they always have a fairly conciliatory attitude towards disagreements. Probably a mutual respect sort of thing.

i have never argued with a libra i don't think,

the thing i appreciate about libra is the ability to look at the arguments from more than on fence/one scope/1 view, and avoid being blind.

i think that combined with my sun sign which is decisive and has the leader abilities (right and wrong), and my chinese sign - logical thinker, i do ok for arguments sake!

I agree totally. From personal experience tho the absolute most entertaining has been Aqua / Leo The Aquarian in question has heavy Pisces in the natal. One of those 60's dudes with the Pisces stellium. That slippery fish Pisces Mercury combined with Aqua Sun Totally bamboozles the Leo. He gets so frustrated he implodes.

How anyone could watch this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aiHbUplz3k

and not realize Ann Coulter kicked poor Jeremy Paxman's butt is beyond me.

She countered his every attempted point, corrected his misstatements/misquotes and provided examples to back up her statements.

Poor Jeremy was forced to change the subject time after time...as leftists always do...when their points are countered with facts.

Ann Coulter is a Sag.

^Facts and Coulter are two words that should never be in the same sentence.
She didn't kick his ass, she bullied him.

Jeremy wasn't "forced" to change the subject time and again, and certainly not as a result of Coulter's so called facts.

He asked her about her creation beliefs. She indicated that she has none, though she doesn't think Darwinism should be the theory of choice.

He asked how she accounted for Liberalism being the state religion for America when, from a non-American standpoint, her view doesn't seem to be based in reality. He made a good point there. She answered anecdotally rather than with any measure of scientific or logical reason. Those of us who are Americans know very easily that our nation's religion is definitely NOT Liberalism. How could one holding such a thought account for all the Republicans and right-wing Christians if Liberalism were our religion? Not to mention the popularity of her books. Does this "Liberal" nation really enjoy anti-Liberal books? It's absurd.

Jeremy's next point about "Liberal" media all allowing Ann Coulter face time on tv was well made if not well taken. There is nothing compelling any media outlet to have her on, and yet they do... perhaps to illustrate the irony of her position.

If you saw her kicking Jeremy's butt, I'm afraid you saw it wrong. He allowed her to show her true colors, which is all anyone has to do to win an argument with her.
