Speaking of Saturn......since he seems to be the talk of the town lately, I thought I'd take the opprtunity to ask around about Saturn contacts in synastry. What if there are several tight contacts but they are just aspecting A's Saturn while B's Saturn is only aspected from the outer planets. How much, in your experience, does this affect the (possibility for) longevity of a couple? Would A be more likely to stick to B? Also, does anyone know of a long term couple (married or otherwise) who have either one or two Saturn squares to Chiron in their synastry? IP: Logged |

Saturn might gain too much dominance in the relationship. It wouldn't feel equal. IP: Logged |

What if the Saturn person was conscious of this and there were other harmonious planetary aspects to balance it out?My personal belief is that consciousness goes a long way to overcoming aspectually challenged relationships. At the same time, I also understand that those aspects are merely describing the likely energy between two people. This is one of those loops which has been circling in my Mercury-driven brain. Consciousness on Saturn's part can go a long way in the relationship. The same goes for the personal planet. Both have to be serious with each other. If you both can prove that you're worthy, you're responsible, and that you really care (by your actions), you'll find a working relationship. Hopefully other planets will give you the other components you expect in a relationship. Saturn doesn't supply all. IP: Logged |
