I know that having a new or full moon on the day of one's Solar Return is very significant, but what if the new moon (in my case) occurs the day before? I still have Sun conjunct Moon, although the orb is 6 degrees.

Do I still interpret it as a new moon?

I am no expert here, but I imagine there must be some influence. I wouldn't view it as a complete conjunction, perhaps, but just be aware of a minor effect.
