So we all know the signs which are opposite to one another are often mirrors for each other. Because I have had so many experiences with Taurus/Scorpio energy I probably understand these two signs the best in relation to each other.

With Libra and Aries, I am aware of the different energies but I am far more comfortable with male Libran energy than I am with male Arien energy.

I just realized that my ex's Venus (Libra) is exactly opposed to the Venus of the first guy I have been really attracted to in over 2 years (which is in Aries, of course).

Further, my ex has Venus conjunct Pluto and the new guy has Venus opposed Pluto. (For interest's sake, I have Venus square Pluto in my natal chart, so I do understand why I find the hard Venus/Pluto aspects so attractive.)

So what are the similarities/differences between a Libra Venus and an Aries Venus? For example, with Taurus/Scorpio, Taurus has a very sensual energy while Scorpio has a very sexual energy, but both are similar in a sense and both are very potent!

Experiences anyone?

Fireeeeeeee is the difference l think!

I'm an Aries venus and i'm very passionate and want it NOW NOW NOW

I presume Libra venus is more sensual and wants it in a more equilibrium way?

there styles are just very different.

i'm an aries moon, and venus libra boy.

i think venus libra is all about communication, light flirting, flattering, and having fun n stuff.

i had an aries venus after me, they are bold, they can get right in your face and talk to you and make there interest in you seem quite obvious and apparent, the aries mooner i was speaking to, i had no interest in really, so my venus libra wasn't really coming out, and i also felt kind of intimidated lol, she asked quite a few direct questions, got to the point quite quick. venus in libra i think just keeps it all very flighty n light.

Well, I notice that often the differences between opposing signs are similar. It's like the behaviour has the same root, but it has grown in different directions, therefore it gets projected in opposite ways.

All the oppositions are Earth/Water or Fire/Air, but in this case they are cardinal. SO how would Aries be a leader in a polarized, but similar manner to Libra? And how would you contrast Aries passion (NOW NOW NOW! ) with Libran passion? You have the Aries Venus, but Aries' ruler is Mars. And then you have the Libran Venus which is in its element.

Well, ultimately planets aspecting one's Venus are going to affect how one's Venus is expressed. But in general, there must be a mirror effect occurring.

All the men who I find the most attractive usually have their Venus' square to my Venus in Cancer as well as opposed, conjunct or square to Pluto. So I am curious to delve into this whole mirror effect when it comes to opposing signs, specifically in relation to Venus in this case.

As an example, imagine someone is hugely egocentric. This is often a defense in place in order to protect a deep feeling of insecurity. On the other hand, if you meet someone who is constantly self-deprecating and putting themselves down, this is also a defense used as protection for a deep feeling of insecurity - it's the same thing, but the first person is actively hiding it while the other person is telling you before you make note if it yourself. Each are afraid of judgment but they deal with that in exactly opposite ways.

Am I making sense today? If not, then I absolutely blame my Neptune opposite Mercury.

nope your making sense.

i used to be ego-centric for insecurity when i was younger, like about 5 years ago. lol.

then its gradually gone in the other way.

the girl was an aries sun, so that probably backed up her bold aries venus.

if i remember right, her mars was in gemini.

Well, in the case of you libralove, if the girl had a Gem Mars, that would account for her being a little more forthright.

Lara, I think you have Mars in Taurus, no? Mars in Taurus is pretty reserved in terms of making the first move, no?

That's actually an interesting question, since you do have and Aries Venus. How much does your Mars inform your Venus?

My Mars is also in Taurus but in the first house. I don't make first moves - I MAKE the other person do it LOL

Most Aries Venuses I've met aren't so bold surprisingly. The Venus Libras, however, were. They do pursue, with flattery and sometimes gifts. And the fine things. They're romantics, die-hard romantics.
I knew a guy with Mars AND Venus in Aries conjunct...wasn't about making making the first move. Nope. Double Taurus. Tries to hide, but it doesn't work (Cancer rising lol)
But I do think they can fall in and out of love easily. As an Aries moon, I understand that too, to an extent.

oooh neat topic.

the guy that i'm really into who's also really into me has libra venus in the first and aries moon in the 7th, so i'm trying to figure this out myself!!

he really epitomizes this opposition, actually. he has bursts of forwardness, of flirtation, but then when the moment comes and we flirt, he is very airy, slow, shy and gentle. so far not much has happened, and i can't figure out whether i should be more libran or arian to accomodate him!!

hmmm.. venus in libra means he likes his woman soft, beautiful, harmonious, receptive, moon in aries means he likes his woman fiesty and forward. i am both, really, but i'd still rather be receptive and allow him to make the first big move. libralove, any advice? you have these aspects (minus the houses i'm guessing) yourself.

love, we also have a lot of strong scorpio/taurus energy between us. tonnes. and that energy is more comprehensible to me too. maybe cuz i don't have much aries or libra energy myself, but i do have a lot of taurus/scorp.

gonna follow this thread closely! and yup, you're making sense!!

Heart cakes, his first house it going to be more pronounced probably. His Libra Venus in the first would make his romantic side, and flattery, more obvious. It would also mean he likes that in a woman (one who can appreciate romance and flattery.) He's probably just testing out the waters

I only move on the dance floor.

I have no idea how my venus communicates with my mars... all l know is that with my present boyfriend he was after me for a month and l was blind as a bat. He hinted, asked me out and finally something just went BOOM inside me and the next thing l knew we were n"

that's how l am...
my 5th ruler is in my 1st in taurus and my 8th ruler is in my 5th so l guess l flirt with my body but never intentionally.

I can't speak for any Venus in Aries (don't know any), but I have Venus in Libra (11th)...and even though I have Sun/Asc/Mars in Sag...I don't like crude or abrasive people, like things to be tranquil and no chaos, it gets on my nerves lol...I love beautiful things, gentleness and good manners (!), a refined sense of humor in a person (that could be my either my Sag Sun or Scorpio in Mercury), but a fun, wicked naughty side will grab my attention as long as it's in good taste.
