I hate cooking, hate being in the kitchen, but I like eatting ok.

My husband has to be pried out of the kitchen!He has moon conj. sun, and a mars/jupiter conj in cancer.

I however have a libra moon (as in 'take-out' food) and it squares my sun.

I'd like to get a wide range of moon sign oppinions. Thanks!!

I don't think I can be judged for my love of cooking through my Aries Moon LOL
And I'm actually extremely patient as a cook, plus I like to make my own bread from scratch (NOT Aries moon-like lol).
I think this is my Taurus rising and my Mars in Taurus which appreciates the ritual of cooking and baking and feeding
I do have my moon in the 12th and the only aspect it has is an opposition from Uranus, and that still doesn't explain the cooking frenzies at all...although I do like to bake sometimes at like 3 AM, and that feels very 12 house-ish too me, so yeah

Also, maybe the 2nd house? I feel that's kinda food-oriented too. Body, money, gifts, food, self-worth, probably anything sensual. Mine's in Mercury but aspects Neptune, Jupiter...I have a very curious palate...I like experimenting with weird flavors. Chili-chocolate cookies, lavender honey with raspberries and creme fraiche, rose honey, and the other night I got a weird craving and made roasted jalapenos and mixed it with cumin and feta cheese O__O

No, I'm not pregnant, but I seem to have the same weird cravings as one.

the 5th house must bring this out of you too!

im not a cooking fan, although i would like to be good at it, thats definitely my aries moon saying that, probably with my virgo mars.

Also the dipositor of your aries moon would be mars in taurus.

My moon dipositor is venus in aquarius, another non-cooking sign. Good thing hubby likes to cook-LOL!

Oh!!MVM, I just remembered something I once read, that moon in aries likes to cook on red hot. Do you??

I always prefer to turn up the temp, cook fast, and get out...
Come to think of it my moon's ruler venus is conj mars!!!

Libralove, yes, I do love to serve the people I love and take care of them, maybe it's Virgo, but I haven't met many Virgos who enjoy cooking, surprisingly.

I don't mind cooking, but solely because I have a strong need for healthy food that can only be found within my home and not the fatty greasy Americanized crap out there that will make me gain weight just thinking about it.

I cooked for my visiting friends little girls throughout new year holidays. One ( a five years old) is actually good at making French toast now.

good girl, yes, I am. It's hard cooking for one, too. Though I dont want to cook for one or many. I don't find it enjoyable. I usually buy a healthy premade entree I can pop in the oven or eat fruit or a whole entire healthy bag of organic chips for a meal. Whatever's in the cupboard!

I think cooking is similar to creativity, some lack it and others have tons of it. I know several good cooks that have either Virgo moon, Gemini Moon, and Cancer moon. I'm not the greatest cook, but I can bake tasty things, and have been doing it since I can remember.

missneptune, baking is totally creative, and takes immense patience! I'm envious of people who bake cakes. Mine suck LOL
My bread and cookies are pretty good though.

And I love aprons. Those little frilly foo-foo ones with the ruffled edges...I want to find one of those so badly (so I can look cute while I cook...ok, that's totally 5th house there )

I don't know if moon influences this though? My mom's an Aquarian moon and you'd think she wouldn't like something so 'role confining' but she LOVES to cook and I always enjoy eating whatever she makes. But then again, an Aquarius moon is a humanitarian moon IMO.

I LOVE spicy food which is pretty uncharacteristic of my virgo moon. I was raised on that kind of food though so that might be a factor. But it has to be moderately spicy and not spicy for the sake of being spicy if anyone gets what I mean. *fans self*

Another Moon in Virgo here. I started being taught to cook at a young age. My mom always wanted me to be able to prepare food for myself.

I don't mind cooking. Like 26T, I'm not always big on cooking for one, so sometimes I do avoid actually going through the trouble of preparing a dish. A lot of my cooking doesn't really amount to anything very complicated, so maybe that's why I don't mind cooking.

libra moon in the fourth house conjunct asteroid cook (3061), and french passeport.

i've always seen my mum as the goddess of the kitchen. so sometimes i dress in drag and try to imitate her (lol).

on top of enjoying the traditional dishes from the rural area where i live, i'm becoming better and better with my curry. i learnt it from pakistanese people with whom i worked in london.

I love cooking..
It's something I like to do for myself, to eat healthier and to cook for people I love.
I like show my love by doing things for them. I like cooking late at night too.
I've got Moon in 6th, Sun in 12th...
Mercury in Taurus in 12th...
I also love to watch my mother cook...It's a security thing I guess and it makes me feel loved. I can't tell if it's a Taurus or Cancer thing...

and I absolutely HATE cooking!!!
I'm a vegan, so most times I have to do it (or my mother does it for me, LOL) because most pre-fabricated food on my country are neither vegan nor vegetarian.
Anyway, I don't enjoy cooking. However I've been told I'm very good at it
