I'm fixing to move in with my boyfriend in a different city, been having a long distance relationship for almost a year now. In our synastry we have no saturn contacts except a close simi-square from my saturn to his moon. Sometimes a have a strange feeling that maybe I could take or leave the relationship, which is wierd for me since I am usually very emotional and needy. But in this relationship it's vice versa with him being needy and me being cool.IP: Logged |

I'm sorry I'm an idiot I don't know how to post. But in composite saturn in 8th with a loose square to neptune, thats really it except a sextile to sun venus uranus conj. Me: 10-15-80 Houston, Tx. 7:50 pm Him: 12-16-79 Columbus, Oh. 3:37 am Maybe it's my sun pluto conj so closely involved with his chart causing this?IP: Logged |

Hi ScrappyDog,I just took a thorough look at your chart individually and I don't see any kind of move or geographic relocation for you. It's interesting that you say you have a "strange" feeling that you could "take or leave" the relationship, and that you usually aren't like that. Well, there's always a first time. Sometimes we don't like to admit that we just don't have strong feelings for someone because we wish our feelings were stronger or we just want to be attached to someone because we like the attention and a million other reasons. Another thing to think of is that many people criticize long distance relationships because they are difficult to sustain but some people find it easier because being in each other's actual presence can be more difficult to sustain. Sometimes the intimacy is too much and therefore it's easier to be apart fantasizing that you want to be together. I could be totally wrong but I would say trust your feelings about what you might feel. Are you moving in together just so that you can set down roots in another city or are you moving in together to advance the relationship? Your original question was if Saturn semi-square Moon was enough to sustain a long term committed relationship and I would vote no, but different couples have different needs. For example, does one of you travel often and the other one stays put? In that respect maybe it works for you. The other thing I see in the chart is that you do have strong feelings for each other and there is deep interest aside from just romantic feelings. Sometimes Pluto connections can act as a kind of glue, but I don't think I have enough experience just looking to the Pluto=other planets connection. When are you supposed to move? I'm supposed to move this month. On the 26th. Am I going to advance the relationship or to put down roots in a new place? Both.IP: Logged |

Pluto won't reach her Moon this year, but she will have Saturn return on December 1st. It rules her MC so possibly, but there's no major trigger of her angles. Maybe when Saturn trines her MC in October, but that's really pushing it.However, planets do nothing, people do. If it's what you really want then it will happen. Astrology doesn't control us. DOH! If I didn't look again I would have missed it. Duh, Pluto just crossed over her MC. THAT'S A HUGE BIG GIANT TRIGGER FOR A GEOGRAPHIC RELOCATION!!!I hope you have a pleasant move. I think it's past my bedtime if I missed a measurement as obvious as that. LOOOOL!!! Good night all, pleasant dreams. (Slinks off to bed with tail between my legs in footsie pajamas.) IP: Logged |

Naughty me, didn't go to bed yet. You're right, it's Jupiter that crossed your MC and now I have to take back my major trigger comment because Jupiter is not a major trigger for a geographic relocation. Dang. But you're still gonna move, right?IP: Logged |

Just checked the declinations and no major parallels or contraparallels are happening either.I keep thinking about the original post and how it's not a question. She's making a statement which is that she's preparing to move in with someone who she feels she could take or leave at any time. The fact that she's the one who loves the least is a new experience for her but that doesn't make it any less of a valid experience that needs to be contemplated before moving in with someone you may not feel bonded with. Even the synastry chart reflects what she states about her feelings in that there is no major Saturn connection between them. There's no glue. What I see when looking at the Solar Arcs and hard transits to all planets, points and midpoints is that by January 19th she'll have Solar Arc MC=Sun/Saturn which suggests "Lacking the feeling of success; feeling devalued; working hard to win; the 'lone wolf.'" How often have I been in a relationship where I felt like I was the only trying to make it happen. Why am I doing this move alone? Why am I making all the plans, etc.? I may be completely off the mark but we don't post here for nothing, we come for insight and...well, it wouldn't be the first time someone changes their mind before they think it's too late or something. But I do like that Jupiter that has just crossed your MC. Did you get a new job or a new opportunity?

Pluto is applying 7 degrees from my MC and have this quickening urge to move abroad! Geo - how can pluto be crossing her MC when pluto just entered capricorn and her MC is on aqua cusp? Does it have an affect this early on?

is it not possible that the axis being almost conjunct, they feel somewhat similar. i mean one has the asc conjunct the other dsc. and vice versa. the same for the mc and ic. i thought it could be significant. a kind of glue. and may be, scrappydog consciously think that she could live without him, and may be that's true, like if she cared less about him than the other way around, but may be it's just an impression, something she's denying..... dunno.. Hi Praecipua,Ordinarily I would say yes about those Axis conjunctions but I think those are too wide. I actually have a conjunction with my ex-boyfriend who is now my housemate, we live really well together, so it's another type of glue. Our Asc's are conjunct by 2 degrees, our MC's are conjunct by 1 degree. But that's a good observation, who knows, maybe it works. Hi Lara, I was looking at this chart last night while I was half asleep and misread where the MC was. I was also thinking that transiting Jupiter was Pluto (LOL!) and Pluto was Jupiter. I needed to put my butt in the bed and I started making too many mistakes. I can understand you feeling Pluto seven degrees off, but it's the exact hit that will get you moving. But I also think that the answer to our questions are sometimes already in the question. We're just to scared to look. I think she already knows the answer by the feelings she mentioned and by the measurements in the chart that she herself found. I personally don't believe that a semi-square to Saturn by the Moon will make a relationship long term. That's my astrological opinion but only time will tell. I do wish her the best. IP: Logged |

Scrappy dog,I am in a relationship at moment with this guy and l don't have much saturn in our synastry. In fact apart from a few semi-sextile's we only really have saturn trine AC, saturn square IC/conjunct IC (double whammy) and saturn conjunct NN. However, if l look at declinations we have: saturn contra-parallel mars It may not even be enough for us... who knows! IP: Logged |

In early July of 2005 I left Texas and relocated to California. On January 18th 2006 I left California and moved to North Carolina. Got married in Vegas on the 19th-jupiter was conjunct my desc. I stayed in North Carolina until early November then moved to Texas where I've been since. One transit I've had off and on the whole time and even now due to pluto going retrograde is t. pluto square my n. jupiter. This transit can signify a lot of travel can't it? I don't know what could be different in april of this year that would not signify a major relocation. I don't know what was going on in 05 and 06 to make me do all thar moving other than the jupiter pluto transit that's still going on. I'm still filled with as much wonder lust now as I was then.IP: Logged |

On July 13, 2005, transiting Saturn crossed your IC. That is a strong signal of geographic relocation. In January of '06 it's not as clear to me. The only thing I could come up with Jupiter on your ASC/DC and then Mars came along about two days later. Mars acts as a trigger for certain aspects and since Jupiter does rule long distance travel plus the Mars trigger, maybe that's what did it. But in truth, if you had come to me then and asked if you would move in January, at first glance I might have said no to a full move like that, maybe a vacation but I don't know if I would have said a relocation. In your case with transiting Pluto squaring your natal Jupiter recently I would still vote no to a move because Jupiter rules your 8th house of finances so maybe you were getting some reward energy in the financial department, but maybe not travel. It might be something to watch, your Jupiter, in terms of traveling an moving. I just looked again and see that it might be the Solar Arc of Sun=Saturn. Since Saturn rules your 9th of travel and 10th of career/father/etc., that could have been it. But it's still not what I would have looked for. Oh well. Let's see what April brings. IP: Logged |
