As I started to type, "surely this can be worked to your advantage", it occured to me that I have the sextile, so I would say that, wouldn't I?

But like any tense aspect experience allows us to work it to bring out the best, to learn from it as we continue on the spiritual journey that is life.

Do any other planets get involved with the opposition? What else on the chart suggests discriminating qualities that can be tapped into to help bring out the best of this imaginative and compassionate placement?

I've had the same experiences with people with this aspect. This isn't to say that all people with this aspect are diabolical. Like you said Atlenta, this aspect can indicate great compassion and especially, sensitivity. However, when this aspect is misused, the results can be disastrous for the individual and loved ones. It can be enormously destructive if honesty is not part of the individual's morals.
