Before saturn stuff kicked in during my teens, I was more noticably my sun position in the 5th/capricorn.

Bossy,bossy, bossy and a leader, pure confidence.

After teen years I now seem to have to learn how to be more those things. I'm no longer comfortable being the boss/leader, etc. They say we 'grow' into our suns. I'm saying if saturn had left me alone I'd feel quite comfortable with my sun by now.

Is that a capricorn thing?

I guess my question is this: Did you feel more like your sun during childhood??

Maybe i'm crazy, but I have ALWAYS felt like a Gemini looking back in hindsight. However though, I think my Asc showed a LOT more back then though. My Moon showed a lot too, esepcially when it came to girls. These days I feel completely Gemini now more than ever!

I have to agree with you Goodgirl! Till I was about nine years old, I acted completely like a sunny, friendly Leo sun. I've read that your moon sign becomes more prominent when your near 10 years old more or less. My point being I became withdrawn, quiet, and morose when I was 9 years old. Obviously my family circumstances had to do with this as well, but its seems like it was a drastic change, so I think astrology had to do with this as well.

Wait a minute I just looked at my transits around this time, and my Saturn was transiting the 4th house, no wonder I had family difficulties!

Hmm not sure.

I feel that was more of my Ascendant and Moon (Sagittarius & Pisces) when I was younger & I've grown into my Sun (Capricorn.)

I've read that we are more our Moon in youth then we slowly become more of our Sun, the Sun is who we become.

not sun, not moon, I felt like I couldn't keep up as a child. I felt wierd. I felt ugly. I felt stupid. I felt like other kids were better than me. smarter, prettier.

Honestly, I think I was fed downers as a child to make me sleep and it kept me groggy during the day.

childhood was not fun.

Yes.
Actually a few days ago, me and my mom were talking about this exact same topic, what a crybaby I used to be and how attached to my mom I was. I was also very bossy! I don't feel like that at all now, and I identify myself a lot better with capricorn (moon sign) rather than cancer (sun sign). I'm still pretty moody though lol, but very independant, and not very emotional.

Ooooo, I was a nuisance combo of my mars and my sun. And they do say that your mars is supposed to be the way you express your sun. Without the cover of my Cap Asc, I could express my emotions (cancer sun) in a very angry way (aries) when provoked.

I have no idea if I related to my sun, but my sun has NO aspects, except a trine to the Midheaven, and nothing else in my chart is in Virgo. I was very alone.
Maybe I was like my sun, but I don't think so - very timid and terrified and stifled, and walking eggshells around explosive adults, trying not to set them off, and then oddly 'counseling' them when they came to me with breakdowns. That might sound Virgo-ish, but not 5th house at all. That came much later. I grew into that after I cut the chains, and then I wanted to just have fun and be creative and was in love with Life.

I don't feel like my Sun alone, and I never have, really. But it does guide me, in a way.

I felt more of everything in my childhood.. Seriously, tho....I felt My Sun and Asendant and Moon. With more emphasis on Asdendant and Moon. Dunno about Mars.

From what iv studied this makes sense..since Jupiter doesnt come into play until about 12 years old. Thats when our outer planets start making their "moves" and coming into play in our lives.

Having a heart condition as a child, the damn meds did make me groggy. My mother also kept me doped on tincture of opium...which was legal back then.

I'm so sorry to hear to hear that your childhood was horrible.I think everybody is entitled to a good childhood. If they mess it up as an adult, that's they're own fault. But childhood should be the one time we are quarenteed happiness...

Im only 17 but I don't think anything changed much, Im still moody/semi-depressed/crazy/strange/timid/erratic antics/probing/shy/wierd/angry/interested in occult muderous supernatural things/humorous/dark/hypersentive/artsy/creative/obnoxious/whiney/caring/loyal.

But now that I think about it, I've become alot more giving and not caring a whole lot about myself but that's due to (personal problems) or maybe for the fact Saturn is sitting in my 1st house along with Neptune and Uranus, also along with all those aspects conjucting my sun with a trine to Uranus and all those several aspects trining my ascendant like Venus, Sun, and Jupiter with another dose of Uranus conjuction or my 1st house stellium trying to be showy while my 8th house stellium just wants to be sneaky. Maybe it's the Virgo Sun/Pisces Moon delima. I really don't know.

Ok..so I don't have a real sense of who I am or what I am doing, it's like I have split personalities or something.
