Good idea, Missy Node!!Normally I upload images to my website and link to them there. I've only been using Photobucket for a month, I wanted to see what it was like. So from the POV of a noob, this is how I do it: Once the image is uploaded and named, I hover my mouse pointer over it in my album and the tagging appears. I click on "IMG Code" so the URL is highlighted, right click Copy, then Paste it into the LL text-box. I don't know if there's a better way, but this works Also, set your image to be no larger than 800 pixels wide, or it will stretch and/or go off the LL page so that the (irritating) horizontal scroll-bar is activated..... Hi ya Zala: I read a really amusing reply by forum admin Alois on Astro.com this a.m. about sizing of charts.AloisGlobal Moderator Astrodienst Staff Posts: 500 Re: Size of charts in posts « Reply #1 - on: 06.01.2009 at 10:08 [UT] » I am afraid it will not help if you write this here, or if it is mentioned in forum etiquette: most of those who do it will never read this thread. The only way you can teach people is by telling them personally, and nicely, for example by sending them a friendly PM with precise instructions how they can get the best size, and how to replace the image they have already posted with another one, WITHOUT posting a second time. Images can be replaced by editing a post! But be prepared for an endless job. You will need a lot of patience. That dry Scandinavian humor always slays me, IP: Logged | |
