i like you. you like me. but we never find a middle ground.

we can haz a relationship, plz?

seriously, though, virgo influenced individuals have been coming in and out of my life and it seems that every time I find out a guy is a virgo I should assume that it'll end in some sort of fling... because IT ALWAYS DOES. so my question is, what IS the middle ground with virgo and gemini? i've always found it to be a love for the intellect/intellectual pretentiousness, but even then i always end up in some sort of unwinable argument with you lot.

is this just a square that i can't somehow figure out (gemini mercury/venus)?

i also can't maintain anything with virgo/libra boys, but i love all of you!

i really should just stick to cancer men...

"we can haz a relationship, plz?"

Inserting lol catz phrases is a worthwhile weapon on a Virgo. It distracts us, thus rendering you temporary winner to whatever argument

MVM, lol, you are such a good fun!

Hi MoonPixie,

In Liz Greene's 'Astrology for Lovers', she mentions in the Virgo 'shadow', particularly for male Virgos, there is a side to them called 'the Hustler' where they have become a bit disillusioned in life and everything has become centred around 'the bottom dollar'. They will check out your worth and a lot of things end up turning into some kind of deal.

Apparently, if you can get them to trust you they will focus less on what they can bargain.

urmmm, i think i might be likin the coolness of that shadow a little too much myself...oopsie

Thanks, Chryseis

Seriously, MoonPixie, the Virgo males I know tend to be very critical. I've never had a relationship with them besides friendship, even though I love them. I think it depends on what you want. Commitment or fling? What are you arguing over with these Virgo boyz?

I think the middle ground for Virgos is that despite our 'mercurial' nature, are critical because we want to get real.
But I've found Virgo men to be sometimes even more critical than Virgo women, even though it's self-contained (the essential difference between Geminis and Virgos, IMO). And they are very idealistic, which can seem pretty skewed sometimes when they're not very mature, and yet have this hypercritical ideal and yet can't be bothered to embody it themselves, because they're too busy silently criticizing everything around them

LMAO VirgoMask ... I approached this thread with plenty of interest until I read that <We can haz a relation> part, then I imagined myself going out with a hot Gemini female who talked like that and I was about to throw up and lost all interest in her hahahaahah, it has happened before.

On a more serious note: I would say the middle grounds between me and you as a Gemini would be for you to stick to one personality and quit your bi / tri polarity when dealing with me and dont change your mind more than your underwear.

Also our love is not for intellectual "Pretentiousness" because once we figure out that you are merely "Pretending" to be an intellectual then we lose interest and take you for a fake (To me that's a form of betrayal and will lead to serious questioninig about your integrity and if you persist then you will be exposed to my revenge seeking Scorp moon).

You dont have to win every argument for the sake of winning it, you have to submit at one point if you wholeheartedly believe that Virgo is right which is hard for you taking Mercury into consideration.

As for Liz Greene, who seems to be another delusional astrologer about the Virgo male species "Like all the other astrologers alike" I'd like to note that our approach to love and relations in general is a very dainty task since we have high standards and dont just shoot for anything below perfect, as a candidate you will go through a very serious evaluation and a battery of tests on a multidue of issues (I wont name them here to keep you all confused on purpose) and the last thing we do is bargain since we are extremely particular, if you dont fit a certain criteria then rest assured you won't make it to the finals unless there is something extremely spectacular about you and even then we will try to hint about your imperfection so you can work on it and change it.

We are considering you for a relation here and sacrificing our individuality and solitude which are very dear to us not buying some veggies to bargain over, if you are lucky enough to make it then no amount of dollars can come close to your worth in our minds and hearts.

"The bottom dollar bla bla bla, there is a side to them called "The Hustler" As if ... We all know who the real hustler is: "$54.95 for a compatibility report".

Virgo is a hard worker not a hustler by all means and people should weigh their words before they utter them".

Tell Liz Greene I said that.

LOL xoxo MVM seriously gurrrl!!!!

I wish Liz Greene could tell us how she reached that price tag, that's top dollars as opposed to bottom dollars

I can't stand when people reach conclusions in their own minds then put them out as final universal standard facts.

"There is a side to them called the Hustler" who the hell invented that side at the first place if it wasn't Liz Greene?

I've never heard that one before, she makes it sounds like there is a consensus out there and everyone is in agreement lol, OMG @ that pathetic confidence making such empty statements that hold no weight, value or merit whatsoever simply because you are a self proclaimed "Astrologer".

<<<Rolling eyes.

Oh VirgOh, ok fella let's get down to the business of splitting hairs, haha!

Quoting duel! lol!

You quote the good Linda herself,

Well, using the Gemini woman scenario with one such as yourself...
Love Signs: "If he's a typical Virgo male ....[he] can't spend all of his time squeezing a wife. Some hours must be spent in squeezing plans for future security into the proper molds."

That price tag always struck me as ridiculous personally. It's not like there's a human being making these personal, individual reports. It's just generated, and is kinda eloquent. I'm not buying it (literally )

Yeah, I have to admit, if Virgos get a boring rep, then Virgo males most certainly get the shortest end of the stick - which is completely unfair, because most of them are quite brilliant, hilarious, loyal, sweet, patient, understanding, and just a whole bunch of other positive adjectives...they might be critical but I think that's within the Virgo sphere.
Seriously. I am still contemplating rewriting this stuff. I have a publisher, and can get it out there. The days of lame-ass Virgo descriptions are over!!

Hahahaha! Oh, I love you guys...

Anyways, I've just recently casually dated a Virgo for two weeks. Witty guy but also very critical and judgmental at the same time. I looked past the judgmental characteristic, though, because he is very, very smart. MMmm.

Otherwise, we have squares and oppositions galore. The intimacy was intense, but we always misunderstood each other on all levels. In the end, he thinks we're on "good terms" which is really him always criticizing me behind my back apparently... That I'm too emotionally honest and translucent... that I put my emotions on the table too often... etc etc etc. Of course, to my face... he acts like he adores me... but from what my friend tells me, he IMs her all the time and bitches about me even though I barely even mention him at all anymore.

I blame this on immaturity and not on his Sun sign of course.

DO NOT date a guy who runs off to a foreign country at 18 because he doesn't know what to do with himself because most likely he won't know how to handle you and your heart responsibly! Just saying...

It strange though... my relationships with Virgo men are always littered with misunderstanding... either their merc is square my sun or vice versa... or double whammy. libra/virgo placements seems to be combo that leads to an intense fling with loads of misunderstanding. but it also seems to be the combo that fulfills me the most in every other way besides communication.

So I think I need to figure out two things: what to say anymore, and how to say it.

And yeah, if a guy is an asshat, I stop caring what his sun sign is (it's in jerk conjunct a***ole, in house of WHY )
Sorry lol

You know, I think arguments are healthy for relations in general, as a Virgo, I dont like to arrive at a peaceful place out of no where and just live it day after day after day ... That is the most boring thing you can do to me, I have to create chaos to generate a reaction lol and if I am not getting the response I want or looking for I will pick an argument with you to keep things interesting and intense.

The arguments could range anywhere from the way your hair looks on that particular day, to the way you wear your make up, to something you said a month ago or something you did and did not take my feelings into consideration, there is always a reservoir of good reasons to pick a fight over lol.

Then when everything seems on the verge of crumbling there is nothing better than an intense make up / out

Best signs to pick fights with from the opposite sex, those who can really hang and dish it out as good as I do: Taurus, Sag and Scorp, Taurus takes the lead cause they can just rip you apart hahaha I love em.

Worst signs who can't hang and are easily bruised: All the rest lol.

With Gemini the arguments usually take a very intellectual twist because you have Mercury battling Mercury and it's tiring because you are going against 2 sometimes 3 4 5 6 people at once lmao depending how severe their bi tri polarity is, I usually throw a curve ball to confuse them all.

That's how I like my stuff.

Virgos like chaos, disruption, disorganization, dark humor, suprises, debating(though were a mutuable sign) messy situations, and plenty of sarcasm to frost the cake of unruliness off.

I like chaos more then drama, no drama. No he said..she said but plenty of chaos and debate.

Mmmm, chaos, dark humor, and sarcasm! :q

MoonPixie, you said you needed to figure out what to say and how to say it - Virgos like the truth, and they love it said with clarity and conviction, when it seems like you've taken the time they usually do to think something over. VirgOh seemed to elaborate on that, and my own issue with Geminis I've been around is that they will say one thing, and seconds later say the opposite and claim they no longer believe in the first or just go in circles. For a Virgo with Libra, this can be so irritating, once us Virgos come to a conclusion there's really no changing it, because Virgo has spent so much time analyzing possibilities and options. Plus to Virgos it probably sounds like you're lying or twisting things, whether you really are or not. Despite being also Mercury-ruled, Virgo is really singular in personality, reaching the ideal of a perfect person. Gemini is known as being a dual personality which is practically opposite, and that can irritate a Virgo.

I'm not a Virgo male so I dunno about the arguments VirgOh was talking about, I personally hate arguing (but love debates) and would not argue about the subjects in that post because I would find them to be petty subjects. :P

Geminis..Geminis..Geminis, man it's hard to put a finger on you guys. One minute your in China and the next your in South America. I run into Geminis out of the blue, my sister is a Gemini and I still cannot keep up. On top of that every Gemini I've run into both male and female have been adorably cute, bubbly, and excellent conversationalists.

I forgot about the truth with Virgos but I am Virgo that makes alot of excuses (coughs). I don't know if thats worse then lying though lol.

Clarification: I am not a Gemini. I am Cancer Sun w/ Gemini Merc/Venus.

Also, I am currently in South Korea, will be travelling to the Phillippines in February, then through New York/Boston/Philly/Chicago/San Francisco/Los Angeles in June/July, and I'm hoping to go through Tel Aviv/Rome/Paris/London next Nov/Dec. Then I'm moving to New York... where the world collides into itself.

Sometimes I wonder if I should have been born a Sag...

I know I should've been born a sag or have a sag moon or something!!

this thread has convinced me to never date a virgo. not seriously at least. all the things you want to argue about VirgOh would probably make me break up with you because it would make me think, "if he doesn't like my hair or make-up and finds this a good reason to start an argument then why is he with me? I've spent my whole life battling peers and the media about my looks I'm not about to battle someone that is supposed to love me for me. All this points to him not loving me for myself" and that would be the end of that.
see how my virgo moon draws conclusions

as for geminis.....I'm biased. Just about every gemini I have ever met has taken something away from me, or has betrayed me in some manner. I steer clear.

You'd be doing us Virgo's a favor

And if you come to me with that rebuttal I'd go something like this: I laaaaaaaaaaaav you honey I just dont like your hair in a pony tail or I like the other color make up you had on hahah.

They are not arguments that are meant to hurt, they are more like ummm me getting on your nerves for kicks lol but when I sense that you are about to lose it (Judging by your reply you seem to have a short fuse) I switch the tempo to mellow things out.

Tis a game I enjoy playing and usually people start to pick it up within time and understand that I do it to keep things rather interesting is all.

Plus, this only takes place with dull females who like things the way they are to be the same over and over and over where the relation becomes a deadly routine, some females on the other hand are different and know how to keep us on our toes, for me personally I prefer the latter type.

oh, dear...

well, not all Virgos are bad. Each sign has their bad eggs. I just don't think I can find a nice soft middle ground with Virgos anymore... I mean - I like to debate as much as the next person, but it feels like I'm being put on trial at times.

Debating critically about what my partner should wear or not, or if his hair is a mess is not my cup of tea unless I was being playful and teasing him about it but by all means I don't really care what you would wear or your hair..dye it blue with spikes if you like, you'd still be my number one in the book.

I have no knowledge about Cancers with Virgos but plenty of knowledge about Cancers with Leos.
