Hi MVM

I read your previous post re horary question & well basically it got me excited enough to google horary (as I know nothing about it of course!)

I have a question exactly the same as yours about this guy in the army that I talk to. Alright I confess I have become one of those that I have laughed at previously & fallen head over heels for someone I am yet to meet in person!! There I said it!!!!

Can you take a quick at the chart I made please?

I will post it now & I greatly appreciate your time.

While I wait I am currently here http://www.skyscript.co.uk/relationships.html learning everything I can, I prefer to learn myself but I seem to have a great deal of impatience when it comes to this man LOL.

So far I have figured out that I as the querant am represented by Venus Which is in the same sign as the ascendant although Venus is in the 12th house? I am so terrible at this LOL but at least I'm not alone.

Unfortunately spunkhini, this chart is unreadable because Saturn is in the 7th house. Even though the chart is supposed to be in Regiomontaus House system, your significators wont change much, but you can still try posting thie exact same chart in Regiomonraus.

Try asking this question another time.

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

Spunkhini, www.moonvalleyastrologer.com is a good site to learn horary as well. Also, the horary forum at astro.com is a good place to ask the horary experts and learn as well. Users Horary Review, HoraryMystic, and Ida are great horary astrologers.

you were right of course, I changed & it didn't make any difference, from what I read on the net it is ok to have Saturn in the 7th if you are the querant? Is this not correct? & can I ask why?

GotGemini:

I thought saturn in the 7th also meant you can't read the chart, but I go to astro.com's forum once in while and I said the same thing. And someone made it quite clear that it means 'proceed with caution'.
And she has a lot of horary experience.

Whether it is, or whether it isn't, I've put my two cents in and if you want to read more it's under the forums horary threads

Spunknini, I'm sorry I haven't been around - I'm terrible with horary...trying to learn myself, but I can look and see for you.
Doesn't 7th with Saturn mean the astrologer's competence is in question ?
That would definitely be the case if I was the astrologer LOL

MVM

it's cool. I could already tell that you were banging your head on the horary wall by the threads you have been posting of late..lol.

As for my chart I think it's basically saying "your an idiot so don't even try".

I was just looking at the strictures on moonvalleyastrologer's site (they use traditional horary), and it says (paraphrase) that Saturn in the 7th house renders the chart unreadable because the astrologer reading the chart will have difficulty coming to a conclusion. They also mention that modern horary astrologers only view strictures as precautions and not rules against judgement. I personally, at least for now, am sticking with traditional horary. This means I use the strictures as rules against judgement. Mind you though, I am still learning. I don't know didly squat about turning charts and I'm still trying to learn how to tell about the order of aspects.

Modern horary astrologers use different rules and modern rulerships (Pisces:Neptune, Scorpio:Pluto, Aquarius:Uranus). I say, learn both and stick with the system that you like best.

Thanks GG

I figure that staying with the theory that has been tested to the crap house & shows results is the one worth sticking too...

Aww, spunknini, don't despair! I'm in the same boat Also learning. I posted up some really cool link with a bunch of articles on another thread. Very straightforward. It's made things easier, somewhat.

Maybe think about the question again and try reposting it. You're not 'technically' meant to do that, but I think there are many facets to the question you're asking

Try and keep the question as simple & straightforward as possible, without trying to cram a lot of other questions into it

Thanks MVM

I will check out the links 2morrow, it's bed time for me now.

How are you doing with your chart? Getting any answers? I hope so.

Yeah, I think I have a positive answer, regardless of the naysayers
I'm in a highly optimistic mood though...and it really needs to be time-tested, you know? Unfortunately LOL.

Have a good sleep, and sweet dreams
