makes me nitpicky. I stop myself, re-think everything and try to get past it. But my first inclination is to nitpick. I hate that about myself. I mean there is no perfect person alive. Not one. I want to bring the one I love up, never down, I want him to feel like king of the world...so I zip the lips. Bad enough to think petty thoughts, when someone loves you and tries to be good to you and is true to you. That is a lot. Who could ask for more?

Venus in virgo is like a handicap you have to work around. Death to romance if not recognized and nipped in the bud.. no one is good enough. did you see that wrinkled shirt? urgh, squeeze the toothpaste from the middle, seriously....I like things perfect all of the time, and that is never possible, is it?

venus in virgo's, tell the truth, you too?

I do not want to be that guy. who gives a crap about the dumb stuff. growing up is so hard even on us older people.

Aww, I love Venus in Virgos!
I had a tidy, adorable boyfriend with this. Just a sweetheart. He was really finicky and tidy with everything, it was so cute.
Venus in Virgo in action with a Virgo sun:

A loose thread hangs from his shirt, and I start to pull at it. So he pulls away and says, no, let me get the nail scissors. Remember the last time that happened?
*Blinks* Umm...no..
Him: Um. Well, it took out a long piece of thread. Let me get the nail scissors.

He was a complete sweetheart. I think Venus Virgos are so considerate and loving and nurturing

omg mvm -
funny story and so me.

no one but he and I remember what happened last time when his perfectly ironed shirt had a loose thread and you just pulled it out with your bare hands for chrissakes and then HUGE rip at least an 1/2 inch long that totally kept him from enjoying the evening, who can have fun with a ripped up shirt on? You seriously don't remember that?

I have to remind myself, only o/c people move things a fraction of an inch when they walk through a room. My poor so, I had him move this huge heavy rock two inches this way, turn on the side, two inches that way, little to the left. Breaking the poor mans back till it was exactly as I wanted it.

we are fussy and need to chill out!

I am not the only one. VENUS IN VIRGO..talk to me...

venus in virgo rx.. What was my mom thinking?

I'm actually not so nit-picky. Could care less really. Maybe because it falls in the 7th house The only person I realy annoy is myself. I can beat myself up better than I can anyone else.

do i know you top shelf?...personally?
.... do not even lie...

i fight it all the way, it is a tendancy, so i am hard on myself about it and have had a hard time choosing a mate in life due to it. I always end up finding something wrong that I don't want to deal with. but pluto and uranus in virgo and all in the 5th, makes ton of sense.
like my family ask, what happend to so and so, but they know me, so they say, did he wear a speedo? forget to shave his neck? what was the faux paux this time. ah well kind of funny.

I just don't want to do it to my man now, becasue he is awesome, andi want to just love his imperfect self.

A friend of mine had Venus in Virgo Opposite Moon in Pisces. It caused him problems, his standards were high in relationships but somehow ended up giving a lot of time to undeserving women.

In certain Northern towns in England, you can see men queuing for clubs and bars in sub-zero temperatures dressed in cotton shirts, often short-sleeved. It always fascinated me to see some of the immaculate ironing of some of their ensembles. Maybe the work of a Venus in Virgo (maybe themselves). It's not chocolate and flowers but it is romance of its type.

But I would say that, I have Venus in Taurus. I appreciate practical attentions.

I swear.. I used to dabble on this site a few years back. I'm a female my pluto is at about 19' Virgo..
I don't know anyone here personally and would never ever mess with a leo at least not like that.
I know right? You think you have a place to vent.. and what have you and then you think some one is spying on you... that would drive me insane.. but thats not the case...

i do have a tendency to want everything perfect, in a personal sense...couldn't care less about how tidy the house is or the clothes, but a tidy mind is nice and very attractive, and i do need to be able to find things, so tend to do all the housework myself...which is not very much usually!! but move my stuff and i go ballistic!

more interested in honest relationships (so hard to find!) and good manners than spiffy looking anything. i did have one very neat significant other...he had PLUTO and NN in virgo in tenth and scorpio on the asc...if you had a spot on your shirt or a hair out of place he would notice it!! all the others have been fairly casual in terms of appearance and environment...

kat-
I could totally relate to the tidy mind.. and don't touch or move my things...Well I do have 2 children 11 and 9..I'm more tolerant about the touching and moving as long as it is put back... I guess my big thing is time..please do not waste my time.. please be on time and be considerate and thoughtful.. I'll let all the other stuff go.. I've found that i can compromise better as I'm getting older. What I need is someone who does not need me to fix them. Someone self made and already there.
Good luck with that.. I know

Hi Sunshine Lion and all

Can relate to what you say, Katatonic and Top Shelf.

Yes, I like other to be self contained - don't want to be anyone's nurse maid or heaven forbid - their mother(horror!)

I think Venus in Virgo can be very tolerant and the reason for this is because our discernment has already assessed and catalogued many things, so, generally we can accept and let be things that are unimportant to us. There is no stress when you're not interested and you don't have to be.

When I get nit picky it would be because I feel I have to put up with something that I don't want - and that usually means a partner. Hence, I prefer to be on my own, then I only have to deal with adult relationships as far as I can be bothered. My children are different, and I like to be nurturing and fair. However, I have noticed that they can't stand bad manners, poor speaking, and poor treatment of children and animals.

whew! sorry top shelf. what was your old user name?

I like everything just so. I am somewhat anal anyway. I re-fold the towels if they aren't like I do them. no pointy edges arranged by color. I mean, that is kinda odd, who cares, who notices, nobody but me. And I am not a virgo, just venus in virgo. actually, that is a lie, my progressed chart has sun, pluto, merc and uranus in virgo in third house opposing moon and saturn in 9th. makes more sense now.

sometimes I think my quest for perfection has made for a lonely road.

my so is good to me, loves me, would do anything for me, and yet there are certain things I am wierd about. I never want to mix my finances with another person again, married or not, I am very simplistic and conservative and there is now a tv in every room, two big screens, stuff, so much stuff. every device known to man, merging two houses is hard and I have to find a place for everything and can't stand crap laying around. In the scheme of life, the big picture, who really cares about stuff, whether a light gets left on, or the sun room is cluttered. I mean, when we get old, you don't look back and say, wow, we had the cleanest kitchen in the city. who really cares about that. I am very funny about money. he is very freespending. we both have jupiter in 2nd house, but i think my life lessons have made me the way I am, and secure future is very important to me. I have to not be nitpicky and really think about stuff.

all those progressed planets in virgo..it all makes sense now.

Hi sunshine_lion

Yeah I know what you mean, I have the Saturn/Uranus thing going on too.

I'm getting into this idea of integrating opposites tho...

The only way I can sought it out at the moment is to have crazy long term goals. At the moment I am restricted in terms of responsibility, the use of resources, and time. I am just not able to go on a cycling holiday through western Europe or develop an ornithology portfolio thru the islands off the British Isles,at this time, lol. But yeah, I reckon I will get there in some form eventually.

I wish everyone had venus in virgo (I'd be wildly popular-LOL!)

Seriously, I had a boyfriend with this position and he would fuss over me, I loved it. He was totally focused on me. He paid attention.

I love my Venus in Virgo. I know I can rely on me! I'm not co-dependent, I'm organised, I'm thoughtful, and dare I say, I can feel pretty sexy at times, but not in a sexual way, if you know what I mean. Which makes me feel great, healthy and happy to be alive!!

Virgos are very black and white to me. Either they're humble and sweet or harsh and judgmental. Some Virgos are yielding, and some have an overwhelmingly strong will.
I like the sweet ones.

O.K., I have to chime in here. The last two relationships I've been in have been with Venus in Virgo women: both were co-dependent and slobs.

And I'm Mr. Neat with Venus in Scorpio.

For some weird reason, lol, I feel even happier with my Venus in Virgo after your post Plutonian Persona. I just can't explain it but its somehow liberating.

i think all signs from cancer to saggitarius can have the tendency to be co-dependent as these are western hemisphere signs

I have Venus in Virgo too, and I have a tendency to nit pick over trivial things. Especially when it comes to another person's grammar, punctuation, and spelling etc. I always have said that there is a mad English teacher trapped inside of me. Also, I used to be such a neat freak, my home was likened to a museum once, but as I get older it's not so bad. As for being a slob, Plutonian Persona would you please define "slob?" I don't think I qualify. But I am co-dependent for sure.
