Anyone know which transits are supposed to be malefic for travelling and trips?

Just make sure there is no Asteroid NEMESIS(Number 128) or Asteroid PANDORA (Number 55) transiting your 3rd or 9th House. ------------------ http://www.tamsoft.co.in/articles.html http://www.tamsoft.co.in/readings.html http://www.tamsoft.co.in/samplereading.html IP: Logged |

Any negative transits to Mercury(or by Mercury, but those are usually very short term). If you're familiar with how fast each planet moves, you can estimate the significance of the transit. An outer planet opposing or squaring your Mercury can indicate a longer period of time during which you could have not-so-pleasant trips, although normally the influence of a long term transit is more psychological. Having said that, any difficult transit could put a damper on a trip. If you're travelling when Mars is squaring your MC and opposing your AC, it's likely that you'll at least be pretty irritated or stressed around that time even though Mercury isn't involved. But it's good to remember that short term transits are short term transits, and even if you happened to travel on a "poor" day and the trip wouldn't be as smooth as you had wished, the situation would improve quickly. And you shouldn't start planning your actions too carefully around the transits, and try to guess what kind of actions they might reflect in your life. And if you're not very skilled at reading transits, you could so easily overstress something you really shouldn't. Here's for example what Robert Hand says about the "ominous" Saturn in the 9th house transit: "Older authorities have claimed that this transit is dangerous for long journeys; but it's not, unless the planetary combinations in your natal 9th house suggest that you are violently accident-prone. But it does mean you may take long journeys for learning or to fulfill obligations rather than for fun". IP: Logged |

GREAT, Nemesis IS transiting through my 3rd, and looks like it's going to conjunct my natal Pandora in a few more degrees. Iqhunk, how is this a bad transit? what does it do?IP: Logged |
