Have thought about this.. As we grow older so does our chart. When comparing to charts isnīt the most logical choice to compare the 2 progressed charts instead of the natal once? Now from my understanding the progressed once comes later if the natal doesent explain something  Ok the natal chart shows our start, the basic ground on which we stand, but it does not show the progress we have made, what we have learned and what negative traits we have over come.. neither does it shows all the positive new things we have learned. So am I walking on thin is in my thinking or what do you folks think about this?? IP: Logged |

hmm that does make sense.
but our natal charts are who we are. it shows all the lessons we need to learn and while we may have made some progression with them it doesn't mean that their effect is any less, if anything just a little less obvious to the outside world. these hardships and lessons are always there to learn. as time goes on we may uncover more depth to these lessons sorta like peeling an onion. and in the process may uncover even more to learn.
the lessons in our natal are the ones that we learn throughout life. IP: Logged |

Both are important, yet the progressed synastry is very revealing regarding the timing of a relationship and the "feel" of it during a certain time.IP: Logged |

Naima, I see your logic in this but I can't agree. Only because like leaping said, our natals are a reflection of us. Our progressions may be a tweaking of our natals if you will, sort of like the company 3M. 3M takes products and tweaks them till they are better/different, but the core product is still there. With me, I don't identify with any of the planets in my progressed chart. Maybe other people may see the configuration some but I can't. ------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚

Thanks for your input!!  Darkdreamer; that sounds logical I have just begun studing this synastry business and it is a lot to take in and
use in a meaningful way. so your thoughts on this is very helpful to me!! THANKS!!! For me I'm a leo sun conj moon but people I meet when I say I'm a leo, because I don't behave like a leo.... I don't like to be in the limelight, I'm not a showoff, I work best behind the scenes and are much more introverted. My progressed Sun is i Virgo and this is much more in line with how I feel and act. I have to dig a little deeper on this and explore this subject.. Its sooo intriguing!! IP: Logged |
