Few months ago I have read the book about famous women through the history:
from Cleopatra until Princess Diana.

In other Forum (other language) I had two Topics:

1. Famous women (without hour of birth)
2. Famous women (with all birth data's).

Some of them had very tragic end or tragic life.

Last night I had terrible sinusitis and eyes pains, but didn’t go to sleep until have finished reading Biography about Camille Claudel, famous French sculptor.

She had two obsessions:

1. Her lover, Auguste Rodin, also sculptor, 24 years her senior
2. To be famous sculptor (and she was).

What is sad here: her family and her lover have done so, that she stayed in an insane asylum (from 1913-1943, where she died).

Her Natal Charts:

She had lost her child (through miscarriage).
She didn't marry because Mr.Rodin has lived already with other woman for over 20 years (and had son with her) when he met Camille.

Very strange:

I see all over aspect:
Venus square Saturn,
as that is my Karma, but I don't have that aspect.

Here is ruler from 7th, Venus in 3rd in square with Saturn in 12th (prison, monastery or crazy house - so we say for sanatorium or asylum).

I understand now why she was in asylum, but don't understand why so long?

I am posting all the time that question because of me and my 19 or 8 years!

Can somebody comment her Chart, please!

"PARTNERSHIP & LOVERS (SYNASTRY) CHART

HOW CAMILLE WAS AFFECTED BY AUGUSTE.

Partnership-Horoscope (Synastry)

Camille Claudelborn on 12/08/1864 at 05:00 in Fere en-Tardenois

Auguste Rodinborn on 11/12/1840 at 12:00 in Paris

Chart Comparison, or synastry, is the result of placing one person's chart over the other's. One simply places the charts so that the zodiac signs line up. In Astro-World, the primary person (Person number 1) is the inner wheel, and the planets of the partner's chart (Person number 2) is on the outer circle.

Some of the first things to check in a synastry chart is the Ascendant, aspects to it, the descendant, and seventh house. Look to those houses where your partner's planets fall. See how the interchange of energy is described by the planetary aspects, remembering that the wider the orb, the weaker the effect. If you have, for example, 7 degrees rising, you may notice that others with whom you feel comfortable often have the same degree of rising. It does not have to be the same zodiac sign and indicates a spiritual bond. There may be conflicts in certain relationships with respect to lifestyle, but such conflicts are often lessened through this aspect. You may find that the trine and sextile are the most powerful.

The sign on the seventh house cusp of your chart will indicate the type of person you are consciously looking for. If you have Cancer on the 7th house cusp, you will desire a nurturing, sensitive individual. Planets residing in the 7th house will modify this portrait. The seventh house is the area that most astrologer's focus on, as this is commonly known as the relationship house. While the sign on the cusp of the seventh house and planets in this house indicate what a person is looking for in a relationship, there may be karmic factors elsewhere in the chart that color this effect. We should not forget that the seventh house is opposite the first house which forms the personal axis. The first deals with our projected personality and the seventh with the personalities of close friends and partners. Aquarius on the seventh house cusp of a person's chart might indicate the need for a more open relationship, but not necessarily sexual. Saturn in the seventh house may show that a person is attracted to a Capricorn or it could indicate a seriousness in relationships and contracts.

Another important house is the fifth house because this is the house of entertainment, love affairs, role-play, and drama. The fifth/eleventh house axis is the social axis. The fifth deals with our personal enjoyment and responsibilities, and the eleventh deals with the larger social side (including social consciousness). The eleventh house tends to be important, especially if a partner's primary planets fall here. This tends to enhance friendliness and social activities.

As the planet Jupiter opens up opportunities, the transits of this planet through the first or fifth house are often periods when love affairs predominate. The first tends to be more creative, while the fifth is more playful. If there is a lot of fire in a person's chart, the fifth house can enhance the desire to conquer another.

The fifth & eighth houses are both related to sex--playful in the fifth and intense in the 8th (particularly if Scorpio is on the cusp and also if Mars and Pluto fall there). On a higher level, the eighth house can reveal the urge for a kundalini release in sex. For some, this energy can provide a healing role.

Relationship Karma

In astrological terms, karmic patterns are often depicted by the aspects of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and north node, along with their corresponding houses. In an individual chart, Moon-Pluto stress can result in an intense emotional discord, and a Moon-Uranus stress an erratic emotional state. When these kinds of aspects reveal themselves in a combined chart, the result could influence the emotional state of the relationship. So examination of the outer planets to the personal planets and ascendant is an important factor in determining any karma present.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Square with Auguste Rodin's Mars

Your sense of being may be at odds with your partner's desires. Thus, it may be something of a challenge for you to fulfill their expectations. Perhaps the sexual side of the relationship will show both partners how much bonding the relationship actually holds. At some point, both partners will become aware of how different they are, since this can be a difficult aspect. Impulsive reactions may lead to some tension. If both are just using each other to find physical release, things may go well for a while. Much will depend on the willpower of each person, as well as other chart factors, whether a lasting relationship can be formed here.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Saturn

This aspect allows your partner to consolidate your focus on work and general activities. Should this consolidation go too far and restrict your activities, it is likely the relationship will begin to grow cold. Much of this depends on how your partner formulates his or her own ideas. In addition, the level of freedom both partners feel will generally determine their joint activities. It is also possible that your partner represents a parental figure from whom you seek some kind of paternal advice and support but whose restrictive behavior you resent. You should recognize these tendencies so that both can realize how important you are for each other. This will enable each of you to provide a feeling of safety and security. However, such manifestations are also influenced by the position of other planets in each horoscope.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Square with Auguste Rodin's Uranus

Your partner may feel compelled to act unpredictably in your presence, so it is important that you remain flexible and open-minded if you want to stay together. There could be a level of nervous tension since this aspect is considered to something of a challenge. In a worse case scenario, your sense of identity may be lost with this person. It may be difficult to set bounds on certain experiences, simply because many events may occur to shock you into new ways of dealing with specific events. Hopefully, you will be able to cope with of all the surprises that will confront you along the way. Perhaps both partners should set themselves a common goal, into which the energetic and numerous ideas of your partner can be channeled creatively. It is important to check whether your horoscope offers the potential to deal with these surprises, such as do you have a sense of humor, determination, and patience. The energies of a strong Saturn and/or earth qualities in both charts can sometimes assist in dealing with any challenges presented by this aspect.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Trine with Auguste Rodin's Pluto

There is likely to be a significant depth of feeling introduced with this aspect. Your partner may have a certain intensity towards you. There is much to learn from each other, provided you can stick together. Much of the interaction will take place on an instinctive level and can lead both into situations where self-transformation is evident. This occurs by sharing a broad spectrum of experiences, and if you deal with them positively, this relationship can become lasting and stable. If neither partner is able to initiate change, it may be difficult to maintain the relationship. Before drawing any conclusion on the partnership, other aspects of the horoscope must be considered.

Camille Claudel's Moon in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's Neptune

You may feel a special kind of spiritual awareness in the presence of this person. The mystical nature of Neptune and the sensitizing influence of the Moon combine to generate such awareness. Thus, each can be aware of the needs and wishes of the other. Both partners are able to receive creative impulses though many common interests. The combination of the Moon with Neptune also allows for both to recognize their significance as part of a bigger picture. Provided that the remainder of the partner horoscope does not contain significant incompatible characteristics, this relationship could be a lasting one. There could be some sort of telepathic link between the two of you.

Camille Claudel's Mercury in Opposition with Auguste Rodin's Moon

Sharp words may be exchanged by which your partner is likely to feel quite hurt. In a few cases, one partner might reveal some of the other's secrets. A lot of nervous tension may arise because neither party is able to come to terms with the conflict generated by your companion's emotions and your reasoning. It might be that your partner is reminded of a controlling parent, with wagging finger, who is making life uncomfortable for this person. For this relationship to survive, there will have to be some deep soul searching to find a balance between sentiment and speculation.

Camille Claudel's Venus in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's Sun

Depending upon the zodiac signs involved, your partner may want to manage certain areas of this relationship. This person will do it gladly because he or she wants you to have the opportunity to develop yourself creatively. If you appreciate this, you will support your partner with tender affection, since you are aware of this individual's motivation. In turn, you can promote your companion's personal development with all your creativity. In relationships, it is often possible that the partners see each other as father or mother figures, and if this happens you should try to work it out in a positive fashion. The beneficial nature of this aspect is well-suited for approaching such deeply rooted conflicts, provided the desire to deal with them is present. The result can be a balanced and long-lasting relationship.

Camille Claudel's Venus in Trine with Auguste Rodin's Mars

The appreciation of Venus and the desire of Mars will harmonize in passion! Unless your synastry chart indicates to the contrary, your partner will likely assert him or herself more in certain areas of the relationship--especially in the area of sex. Since this aspect has a significant impact on the physical side of a relationship, much will need to be drawn from the rest of the chart. If both can deal with the role each plays in this partnership, you will be able to grow old together.

Camille Claudel's Venus in Square with Auguste Rodin's Pluto

It is possible that your partner will try to manipulate or dominate you emotionally. It is as if your companion undermines your sense of security by questioning your values. The more this person gets away with this, the more your self-esteem is likely to be crushed. You will need to learn how to deal with your partner's approach to affection. Your partner will need to transform his or her perception of the way each of you can grow independently but still live together. When a balance is struck, the relationship has a chance to endure, but it will require some spiritual growth.

Camille Claudel's Venus in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's AC

With this combination, you can appreciate the outward expression of your partner. In turn, your partner will enjoy an attractive or charming quality pertaining to yourself. By itself, this conjunction strongly supports a romantic or marital relationship.

Camille Claudel's Jupiter in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Mercury

You may find yourselves discussing educational or philosophical matters at length. Some careful understanding might be required if one of you sense that there is something of a difference in your spiritual levels. You will likely point the way towards a higher consciousness, while your partner is able to translate your ideas into a practical form. Business opportunities are likely, but be careful that neither of you become too stubborn.

Camille Claudel's Saturn in Trine with Auguste Rodin's Moon

Although you may seem reserved, you bring to this relationship feelings of emotional loyalty and security. In turn, your partner is able to inspire you to take a more balanced approach towards any stern requirements you may have. Probably neither partner feels he or she is living in a dependent relationship. Your partner is sensitive to the moral characteristics projected by you, which makes for a more mature relationship. Your companion will often instinctively adopt the traditional role of a nurturing figure and try to live according to values of the past. Accordingly, this aspect can be the basis of an enduring

relationship.

Camille Claudel's Saturn in Square with Auguste Rodin's AC

This can be a very challenging for both partners. Your method of imposing discipline or restrictions on your counterpart will be met with fierce opposition or resentment. You will dislike your companion's tendency to act in a way that you perceive as irresponsible. As a result, both will be emotionally distant from one another.

Camille Claudel's Uranus in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Moon

Your partner is invariably a sure source of surprises. You will notice this most significantly on an emotional level. This may often please your partner, but sometimes there may be uncertainty, and he or she may not know how to inform you of it. Much of this depends upon the aspects of other planets to Uranus in each natal chart. If by nature, you tend to behave in a sudden and capricious manner, this will certainly affect the relationship. However, if you are not one for this kind of behavior, you will probably be able to constantly surprise your mate with loving gestures. This aspect will certainly bring tremendous variety to the lives of two people. The important question is, whether each partner can deal with it. This is a question each will have to answer for him or herself."

Prolog

The synastry chart described here is an elementary comparison between two people. Not all of the interpretations are likely to be exact. Emotional and spiritual growth can circumvent some of the interpretations or one aspect may overwhelm another. So, we ask that you keep an open mind!

One of the most important factors that modern-day astrologers consider with relationships is relationship qualification. This is an individual's capacity for a relationship. Here we are dealing with the level of self-esteem or self-love that a person has or reveals. Simply put, how can a person truly love another if there is no love and respect for the self. This is not the vain, narcissistic appreciation of the surface self, but the true love that is deep within and revealed outwardly--which is a spiritual love.

A very common lesson that many of us have during our physical lives is to learn self-love. To understand and learn this, we must endure rejection. This is why we are subjected to teachers and parents who will verbally abuse us, put us down, state we are not capable, etc.

Individuals who have Cancer planets, 4th house planets, Cancer rising, water Moon, Libra planets, 7th house planets, Libra rising, and Libra Moon, are more likely to be insecure and unclear. It is not surprising the rulers of these signs are the Moon and Venus, so aspects to these planets play an important role. Many of the more stressful aspects to the primary planets in a natal chart can reveal this loss of self-esteem, particularly where they have a relationship to Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and the other outer planets.

Once we learn self-love and the more spiritual we become, the more we can associate with others. To understand a person's primary relationship needs and desires, we need to first examine how the energies of the Moon, Venus, and Mars vibrate.

The Sun forms our conscious sense of being, which includes the ego. The Moon represents instincts and feelings. Women generally identify more with lunar qualities than men, who tend to be connected more to solar traits. A Moon with squares and oppositions may depict people with emotional karma and emotional problems, which can sometimes be quite erratic, especially if Uranus is involved. The Moon also represents balance from the mother. At times we may even act like our mothers without our knowing.

Stress on the Moon from the Sun can create restlessness and fluctuations in close relationships. Beneficial aspects induce balance and emotional stability. A Moon stressed by Mercury can produce nervous tension & excitability, whereas a benefic aspect can provide common sense and fluent communication. Clearly, examining the natal chart is just as important to gain a greater understanding when dealing with synastry.

Other houses will obviously deal with the life initiating patterns they represent. The second house, for instance, concerns personal values. If a partner's Saturn falls in your second house, you may feel that your personal resources are either restricted or consolidated by this person. Thus, it often depends on how Saturn's vibrations are affected by both charts.

The Elements
Each sign has an earth, fire, air, or water element associated with it. With air, there is a need to have lots of communication going, otherwise boredom sets in. Fire types require energetic mates and are generally not drawn to sluggish people. Earthy people like to be practical and be involved with this planet, where intimacy is not that important, but convenient. Water, on the other hand, requires intense closeness and intimacy in order to be satisfied. Sometimes, people are attracted to an element that they totally lack. In such cases, one finds that air and fire, or earth and water are the preferred inter-element arrangements. By contrast, Air floats out of water, and Water extinguishes fire.

There can be some instances where there are a number of stress indicators in a synastry chart. This may include a lot of oppositions where the attraction is simply a contrasting excitement. Whether this form of relationship will endure clearly depends on a number of factors. What may appear to be a general incompatibility between two charts, may be resolved by a greater openness of the relationship. Cultural factors often form a strong tie that sometimes surpasses basic instincts. A strong minded person that mates with someone who is easily manipulated is not that unusual, but may be unusual from what one might perceive as the basis for the attraction. Sometimes, the attraction may lie simply with elements and/or house placements that provide a sufficient balance overall.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Mercury
This aspect often promotes an effective communication on the part of your associate. This person will be able to assist you in expressing thoughts and ideas. However, if Saturn is adversely influencing this aspect, communication may be inhibited, but this should really be seen as an opportunity to grow. Some partnerships may find that there is a practical enhancement to the relationship that involves some form of service to others. There is also the potential for a spiritual harmony that stems from an intuitive perception. By examining the ways in which you can both complement each other and by being flexible, you can each help stabilize and expand upon the many possibilities for working together.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Venus
Your partner will quite likely appreciate your sense of being. Should this appreciation be mutual, this aspect will work well. If you are the male, this relationship has the potential of being well-structured. If you are the female, you may be inclined to undertake a more dominant role in certain areas, and if this is accepted, you sense that both of you can experience some growth. You probably share an appreciation of such areas as the arts, music and the like. For intimate relationships, this provides a strong connection.

Camille Claudel's Sun in Square with Auguste Rodin's Mars
Your sense of being may be at odds with your partner's desires. Thus, it may be something of a challenge for you to fulfill their expectations. Camille Claudel's Moon in Trine with Auguste Rodin's Mercury
You are generally receptive and particularly understanding of most topics that your partner communicates to you . You will feel secure in expressing your feelings and will cherish the way in which your partner acknowledges and responds to your subconscious emotions. Your companion will find you receptive to his or her ideas, and the response your partner receives will also help you to find inner peace. This relationship may sometimes have a rather naive quality.

Camille Claudel's Moon in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's Neptune
You may feel a special kind of spiritual awareness in the presence of this person. The mystical nature of Neptune and the sensitizing influence of the Moon combine to generate such awareness. Camille Claudel's Venus in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's MC
This aspect indicates mutual harmony in social, professional, and ambitious areas of your relationship. You are able to further your partner's ambitions, while your companion provides the social and artistic security for you. This combination favors a business relationship in the arts, entertainment, or luxury items.

Camille Claudel's Jupiter in Conjunction with Auguste Rodin's Mercury
You may find yourselves discussing educational or philosophical matters at length. Business opportunities are likely, but be careful that neither of you become too stubborn.

Camille Claudel's Jupiter in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's Neptune
This should awaken a unique intuition and compassion in both partners. You have common dreams, hopes, and ambitions. It will enable you to assist others should you desire to do so.

Camille Claudel's Uranus in Quincunx with Auguste Rodin's MC
It may be that each of you misunderstands the other's ambition. Your partner may need to accept greater flexibility for you, while you may need to be sensitive to this person's concerns.

Camille Claudel's AC in Trine with Auguste Rodin's Uranus
This combination can provide certain elements of enthusiasm to your relationship. Your partner may assist you in recognizing a higher purpose associated with social interactions. You will be able to assist your companion in expressing his or her unique ideas and talents more openly.

Camille Claudel's AC in Square with Auguste Rodin's Neptune
Your partner might seem diffuse and somewhat scattered to you, while you can be somewhat impatient and aggressive with your companion. Without some understanding and patience on your part, this may be a difficult combination.

Camille Claudel's AC in Quincunx with Auguste Rodin's Pluto
The potential exists with this aspect for misunderstanding the motives of the other and for some inconsistencies in the behavior of each person. You may feel that your partner can be overly-assertive and intense at times.

Camille Claudel's MC in Sextile with Auguste Rodin's Moon
Your partner will provide you with emotional support. In turn, you can provide the financial and domestic security for this relationship, while focusing on your career. There should be a natural element of give and take here. Together, you may benefit through socializing and building bridges with others.

Camille Claudel's MC in Square with Auguste Rodin's Jupiter
This aspect can create some disagreement with cultural, religious, philosophical, or educational values. Therefore, there can be challenges in friendship, marriage, and business relationships. You may perceive your partner as tending to pontificate and as having a different outlook on life. Your partner may regard you as being too materialistic or status conscious. Employer-employee relationships can be particularly strained."

Hmm, I must say I do not really like those computer generated reports, as they fail to relate the natals to the synastry.

"I understand now why she was in asylum, but don't understand why so long?"
Well, Saturn tends to make things longlasting.

Hi Darkdreamer,

Thank you for all that.

I have tried to post Synastry Chart from both, but can't. Without Charts I am really blind. Beside that he has no birth time and I don’t like “half Synastry”.

I know enough about Synastry as that was my "first love" in Astrology. After that came suicide, the "second love"!

What I want to know here, why she was so long in Maison de Santé?

What I like is to have biography, years when something important has happened and look into Natal Chart. That is also good way why something happened just then?

Hi DD,

Sure, I have to look Saturn and it is exact 29-30 years. I forgot it.

Now is the time to look myself and all my life: what planet is for that?
I do research for my health over 19 years!
I have nothing against my pains, 8 years!

It looks more like Vedic Astrology time. I am in Venus Dasha since October 2004 and I feel nothing from Venus, more from Saturn or some new planet.

Wish you nice day,
Buena

p.s. I must add: it is great that about Synastry between Camille and Rodin, but great love ends tragically (in most cases).

hi buena, I really like your topics always interesting and full of useful information!
I think maybe she was in the asylum for so long because way back then they did not have the treatment and knowledge of how to make someone with mental issues like Camille's to be well again.

Hi Snow_Dream,

Thank you for compliment.

I post different Topic's because I get boring to be always by the same theme.
My Uranus is strong and I like change all the time.
Beside that I read now biographies from famous people in the history and btw can post their Natal Charts and see why something happened just at that time?

Last week I had Camille Claudel and Sigmund Freud. Reading about Freud and his psychoanalyse I was very quick, in about hour, because I have looked only interesting pages. It is pretty boring book!
I have found him on the list of famous people they have committed suicide, what I didn't know.

From other side Camille Claudel and her life is very interesting. It seems so I will read biographies from all famous French people in 19th Century.

Buena

Hi emma_duncan,

It is about me and searching of the cause for my chronic sinusitis, rhinitis and ear pains, I have got in Secondary school. I have got help already, but in Germany. Here is either wrong place for me or the wrong people?

Since September 1989 I am doing different research for that and have got additional diagnosis. Most of them say it is from the neck muscles. Neck MRI shows that is narrow space between C5 and C6 (vertebras). As I can turn my head and neck, they don't care about that.
There is muscle levator scapula (from C1-C4) and about that muscle nobody knows anything. EMG shows, all is OK.

Since 8 years (December 2000) I have no painkillers except pills from England, my friends send to me.

Since May 2001 I don't work (I have left because there was no therapy to help me) and since then lots of bad things happened to me. I was in the hospital more times; was betrayed over Internet and lost all my money.

There are also good things: I have met new friends in England, Austria and I was in Spain, one month in Monastery. I could stay there but again my pains didn't allow me to do anything good for me.

The best event was: I was again in some platonic relationship with my ex great love: this time I didn't see him because I had terrible pains (2002/03) but had long phone calls and was very lucky to talk to him. August 2003 was finally all over.

Buena
