Hi IQ i followed your recommendation of Lapis Lazuli and i'm very pleased with my purchases I ended up buying more then one lol Heres some pics btw I have noticed they have a richer color since i got home with them..is this common?

Try photobucket.

You'll find that with crystals - they do alter. I love them. They're like my other children. Lapis is beautiful. Resembles the night sky. Enjoy.

They are really beautiful aqua/scorp. I love the gold inclusions in them. It's a very protective stone. It's supposed to be one of the ones that if someone sends you negative energy that you can program it to return the energy to it's sender. But use that power with love, because what you send out comes back to you too. Lapis also enhances psychic ability.

Oh yh very powerful stuff which needs to be used with the best intentions. "Programing" I came across this yesterday in terms of crystals hmm this is something i have look into more. I read small amount about it and they were saying rathering then exerting your will on the crystal.. as some crustals have a strict purpose they stick to you should rather compromise with them in assisting you and its best that your requirements somewhat blend with the crystaks natural purpose.

I found an amazing site on crystals but theres alot of reading to do but very informative.

Also i went to the Museum yesterday and saw "The Ram in the Thicket" which was found in the Great Death Pit in Ur and was made around 2600 BC! It's made mostly of Lapis and Gold!

Never ceases to amaze me - the beauty that humans are capable of creating. Wow! It's funny how we think of ourselves as so advanced in terms of technology, but when you think about the things that they have accomplished in many gone times, without any of our gadgets and how amazing that is. "Agrees" i know exactly what you mean..its all to mysterious! But i personally believe in those times things were built with love and spirituality.. also as we know the time and patience that must of went onto this.nowadays imo its all based on sheer competition and money/materials.

They look superb! Hope they did not blow a hole in your pocket though. I managed to get a 2 inch long, one inch wide oval Lapis on Ebay.in for about 12 pounds. The best sellers are from Thailand though. You will also get great Amethysts from Ebay, always pick the sellers with 98% plus positive feedback.

Actually no as far as my pocket goes it was not too bad..only the really huge piece of Lapis which i bought in the second shop kinda did in think..but then again its raw i suppose..£10 (went in free altogether hence three pieces Lapis ) lol i must be addicted already if i had went in 10 of those shops i would of most likely bought one in every shop! I also bought some clear quartz too. I'm very proud of them

IQ one more thing in regards to "clearing/charging" crystals what do u recommend? I have also read somewhere that some crystals are self clearing when need be.

Citrine is one that never absorbs negative energy. You can use it to clear negative energy from other crystals. Or you can just clean them under running water or under the moonlight, generally. Except for Selenite. Never put Selenite in water.

to recharge crystals you can bury them in soil for a few days or in water as well. for amber you can let it sit in the sun during noon when the sun is the highest and for moonstone during the full moon, this can help recharge and fill the stones with sun/moon energy.

oh i think sand is ok too...or even soil in a pot.
and my advice don't let to many people touch your stones...unless you are sure of the energy they will put in it.

I think every method given above is good.
Additionally, I place a clean crystal on my forehead and viualize pure violet rays blasting through it, then mentally "program" the crystal by sending affirmations whilst feeling the emotion of the affirmation in my Solar Plexus. This is supposed to be a Yogic/Hermetic technique of manifestation using Positive Pole of the Mind and the Negative Pole of the Solar Plexus. [Maybe feeling in the Sacrum/Spinal Base would work too]
