I don't understand the midpoint stuff at all. Like, I went to astro.com and looked under extended charts and the Pullen report, got all the midpoint stats...don't get how to apply these. I have Moon/Sun midpoint Cancer...I have no idea what this really means. Does anyone mind dumbing it down for just a moment so that I can understand please? IP: Logged |

The midpoint is where the energy meets. My Sun is at 5 degrees Capricorn. My Moon is at 29 degrees Virgo. My Sun/Moon midpoint is at 17 degrees Scorpio, because it's at the middle point between them. There are interpretations for planets conjunct midpoints. The shorthand equation looks like this: Mars = Sun/Moon (Midpoints are typically identified with a slash between the planets.) People also sometimes look at transits to midpoints. I've noticed transitting Mars go over my Sun/Moon before, and it was definitely noticeable. IP: Logged |

Thank you, AG. Ok, makes a little more sense...so it's like a blending of the energies then, if I'm understanding this right. And ewww, I have natal Saturn conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint. Sounds kinda oppressive...I'll have to look it up. How the heck do you figure out transits to the midpoints? IP: Logged |

they say a synastry or transiting planet that falls on your midpont will activate both these planets and it will feel their energies both come together ... Sun/Moon midpoint is considered one of the most important ones ... my Sun/Venus midpoint is really noticeable in synastry, i am not sure about my Sun/Moon midpoint yet but in my mom's chart it always works especially when SA or progressed planet moves on ithow figure to out transits to the midpoints: on astro.com select the type of chart you want: choose natal and transits select chart drawing style: ebertin with midpoints and then in the left upper corner: View the additional tables (PDF) IP: Logged |

Just do a regular transit chart, and know where your midpoints are. IP: Logged |

WOW! how HOT and it's true, l am extremely in touch with my feelings and sexuality. Thanks! I always wanted to know that. My AC squares this midpoint too and my juno opposes it LOL my sun/moon midpoint is almost on my moon. Cos l have my stellium so tight, lots of midpoints touch my moon/venus/saturn/NN. It's a bit nuts! IP: Logged |

Leaping, I'll take a stab at it.The upper right section is showing ALL of your midpoints. Where your Leo Sun 22 meets your Virgo Moon 19 is at the space to the right of your Sun, and the space above your Moon. It indicates that your Sun/Moon midpoint is at Virgo 6 09'. Your Sun/Mercury midpoint is the second to the right of your Sun. You can see that it alligns with Mercury two spaces underneath. The bottom left section shows your charts aspects (like you'd find in most chart drawings). We can see that under your Virgo Mercury there's a symbol meaning sextile, which is also to the left of your Venus in Cancer. That is the aspect between those placements. If you look further below your Mercury, you find a square. That square is to the left of Jupiter, so your Mercury squares Jupiter. IP: Logged |

I don't have the interpretations, if that's what you're after. If you're just asking generally, midpoints are where the energies of the two planets meet. Sun/Moon midpoint is where your emotional nature (Moon) meets your self-expression (Sun), so Sun/Moon equals yours emotional self-expression. quote: an acousticgod.........thanks so much fro explaining wht these tables show
