Yes, because Mercury is making an applying sextile to Venus which rules the 5th. Though it's retrograding, so I'm not quite sure what that means.IP: Logged |

I think the chart is saying "Ask again later" because the Moon is "Void-of-Course". The most amazing part of it is that, if the Moon was only 1 minute closer, it would be at 26 degrees Sagittarius. This is one of the rules I remember the most because it's kind of a fluke:If the Moon is within the last 4 degrees of Sagittarius, it can not be considered void. It is the only place in the zodiac where this is possible. But the Moon is one minute outside of those degrees. But if it was, I'm thinking the answer would be no because Mercury is retrograde and Horary tends to not like retrograde...I think...don't quote me on that. LOOOOL!!! But I remember something like that. IP: Logged |

Oh God! I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!But wait, at the time you cast the chart, was it the beginning of the minute or the end? If it was at the end of the minute, maybe the Moon really WAS at 26 degrees 00 minutes. Maybe... But then at that point I don't know how fast the Moon is, dang! But at least you get to ask the question again, like the Magic 8 Ball. It's hilarious, but it's true, it really is like the Magic 8 Ball. IP: Logged |

Hi Katatonic,I don't know if that was the reason back in the days when Horary Astrology was the primary form of astrology used. Another astrologer on a different forum site mentioned the same thing years ago, and I believed it then, but now when I think of the fact that the Galactic Center was at 23 degrees Sagittarius in the 1700's, that means that within the last 500 to 1000 years it has moved considerably through Sagittarius. I guess it also depends when that rule was made. I'm starting to remember something about William Lilly the famous astrologer from a few centuries ago. Off the top of my head I don't remember when he was around, but he was a major Horary Practitioner and I have a feeling the rule was around since then, but I could be wrong. But yes, I almost mentioned the Galactic Center then backed off for some reason. It does make a lot of sense at this time, though. IP: Logged |
