Honestly, all of the latest eclipses were supposed to have a big impact in someway. Last year, an eclipse happened the day before my birthday (I think it was at 18 or 19 Aqua.. right on my Sun), and I don't know if it really made an impact. What exactly am I supposed to be feeling with an eclipse?

It depends on whether the Eclipse is a Solar (positive) or Lunar (negative) one.

When an Eclipse conjuncts the Sun in your Natal Chart it activates all aspects made to your Natal Sun.
The Sun is the "giver of life" therefore a sensitive point.

Much depends upon the individual chart and what house the Eclipse falls in.
