Now is definitely the time. Your 6th House of the workplace and cooperation dynamics is currently chock full of transiting planets.Transiting Mars (Mars is usually a significator of "work" "effort" "action") is currently moving toward a square to your Aries MC which is the career point. So that is suggesting some career action, whether it's a job or aggressive petitioning.
Transiting Uranus will soon trine (positive aspect) your natal Mars, once again intensifying that planet which rules your career point MC again.
And last, I always try to find something that Jupiter is doing. Jupiter will Quincunx your Moon in a few days. The Quincux can be a stressful aspect, but Jupiter is the Great Benefic and I'd rather have Jupiter making some kind of aspect to my Sun or Moon, no matter what it is. 
Also, it could just be suggesting that you are strongly feeling the need to get your career moving. The Moon usually has some kind of role in jobs/careers.
Then transiting Jupiter will oppose your natal Jupiter. When Jupiter connects with itself by any aspect it can be a reward aspect. So, yes. Start now and continue on. There is a high probability that you will find something soon, but you must begin now.
