I know that synastry is the energy between you and the composite is the energy of the relationship, but how do they differ in how you feel the aspects? Do you feel the aspects in the composite too??

Not really, u donīt feel the aspects in the composite although I once read that dependiing on which role each partner is taking in the relationship-passive or agressive-they will identify more with the composite moon or sun...

But I find that at least overlaying the composite over your own natal gives quite a good impression of how the rship affects YOU... Also, the composite sun also gives quite good clues as what the relationship is really for.

In my last "relationship", the chemistry was extremely strong, but the 6th house had the sun conjunct saturn. And indeed it was a very one-sided rship which taught me a lot but which was alos very "heavy". Also, the moon was in the 8th house, and, interestingly enough, in the Davison, the sun was in the 12th house, also a house of service but in a more spiritual way. Also, there was a sun square mars and I was once told this could mean aggressive behaviour or hostility, and indeed it ended in a very hostile way... So much of what it depicts I have found quite telling, even though for the direct energies itself I would definitely look at the synastry.
