This one is a bit of a doozy, ive read like ALL forums on the subject of ppl having natal retrograde planets but not as many as me!! Check this:Rx venus and Rx Nth Node (in taurus, duh) in the 2nd house (ruled by taurus..does this mean im a materialistic ***** when it comes to love, Elizabeth Taylor style?) Rx pluto in the 7th house (ruled by libra..does this mean ill have an abusive marriage? The moon is living here too to boot) Rx Saturn in the 8th house (ruled by scorpio...dont even get me STARTED on this one...) Rx uranus in the 9th house (ruled by sagittarius) Rx neptune in the 10th house (ruled by capricorn) And finally.... Rx Jupiter in the 11th house (ruled by acquarius...is that why i still feel lonely even though i have tons of friends and acquaintances?) Now, that's massive...I'm wondering if anyone else has that many retrograde planets in their natal chart, how its affected them and their lives. I'm not too sure what i think about it yet cos its something i only discovered a few weeks ago when i was looking at my natal chart AGAIN (constant source of fascination for me lol) I read all the standard Astro 101 definitions and all that, doesn't really explain much and i find other people's personal interpretations much more informative and elaborate, as you see it from a real life perspective. Also, any one else got Saturn in the 8th house, ruled by Scorpio? Even better if its retrograde!! Im sooo interested to just get to the bottom of that mystery (how scorpio of me) All reply's, input and insight welcome ------------------ ~Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future...~~ IP: Logged |

I have: Jupiter (in Sag) RX Uranus (in Sag) RX Neptune (in Sag) RX Pluto (in Libra) RX True Node (in Gemini) Rx (but I think the True node is always RX..not sure) I don't really know how the RX planets apply to one chart..I once read that they have to do with lessons from past lives. My Saturn (in libra) is in Stationary (don't really know what that means either).

Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are all retrograde natally. My life has always had tons of drama and has always been on the difficult end of things. In fact, my inner question always seems to be 'Why is everything so d**n hard?' IP: Logged |

Still dont have a clue as to what the Rx planets actually mean in terms of impacting your life. I've read various things about the NN going direct and what it means, but people still can't decide whether it makes a difference or not because the ancients didn't use True Node (which goes direct sometimes), they used Mean Node (which is always retro).IP: Logged |

I've heard the term that Rx can be remembered as 'Restrained eXpression'...so I guess whatever those planets' energies represent are restrained to some extent. I've got Jupiter Rx...a cautious Jupiter? Is there any such thing? LOL I think Jupiter is more internalized in my chart or something... IP: Logged |

Lol, internalised jupiter...i like that. Sort of goes with my theory (cos i got Rx juptier too...in the 11th house, ruled by Acquarius no doubt) about my life, always had lots of friends, know sooo many people and have soo many acquaintances, i have friends in very high places and very low places but throughout my whole life ive never stuck to one group, never found one i wanted to stay in for long, always hanging out with someone different every 2-3 months, always felt like the outsider looking in, the social chameleon. I could be with a group and still feel lonely.Could that be the internalised jupiter doing its magic, lol? ------------------ ~Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future...~~ IP: Logged |

Interesting about the north node. Mine is direct, is there any info anywhere on this?I also wonder if my Jupiter in Cap maybe just feels like a retrograde jupiter. It seems pretty damp for a 5th house jupiter. What is it like to have a retrograde 12th house mercury? I seem to know an unusually large number of people with this and nobody listens to them. Some of them just give up and say whatever suits them, knowing they won't really be heard. IP: Logged | |
