My additional suggestions:
a) The Astrological Trick of cutting your hair a little on the tips just after the New Moon has occured.
b) INOSITOL and CHOLINE Supplement in addition to Vitamin B Complex and plenty of organic Vitamin E.
c) Metaphysics. When we start feeling that our thoughts and thinking are weak, we deprive the Crown Chakra of vital energy. Change the way you think about your thoughts, the Hair will improve.

or is it simply a taurean trait ..

You should also look at the metaphysical reason behing it. Hair represents our link to God and Oversoul - our real strength .A sense of becoming weaker can often trigger unwarranted hair loss and people who think they have no strength always have sparse hair.

If you are male, you might have to accept that you aren't going to have a full head of hair. My advice would be to get a number 1 or 2 cut and keep that as your style.

If you are female, well, I am female, and I must say I would be inclined to visit a reliable nutritionist. Also the doctor, I didn't know thinning hair could be a sympton of thyroid problems before reading Tara's post. It might be a symptom of a hidden problem.
