Hmmm. Well, I hope one of the vereran astrologers will weigh in with a helpful interpretation, but...I tend to think synastry charts aren't a way to tell, totally in the abstract, whether people are compatible, because compatibility is not a fixed thing. Lots of astrologically "incompatible" people have hot and heavy lifelong bonds, and lots of "compatible" people aren't interested in each other. That's why computer dating services tend not to work.

What the chart CAN tell your friend is how to work with issues that arise in the relationship, and also how to get closer into the relationship. What, specifically, does she want to know? I would give these same aspects a very different reading based on whether she is already in a committed relationship with this person, or nursing an unrequited/unconsummated crush. You can have the most promising synastry in the world with someone, and if you never get together those aspects might not come into play at all.

Also: could you post a synastry chart? Houses offer a lot of information.

Stuff I see just from a peek at those aspects:

-Looks like a very Uranian relationship, which can mean that it involves the quick,. short-lived, fascinating and surprising exchange of new, life-changing insights and information, and does not necessarily involve a conventional or longer-term connection. Uranus=strange and exciting relationships/friendships that do not fit into established categories

-those Jupiter conjunctions could lead to a feeling of shared luck/buoyance between the two people; the nice Mars trines=a pleasant attraction, would have to see the synastry chart to check whether that's mutual and how each person would experience it

-The Moon-Mercury square and Neptune stuff could cause emotional and communicative blockage...one person might have a very different idea/sense of the situation than the other, leading to the frustration of misunderstandings

It seems very idealistic and adventurous. There could be a few misunderstanding, though, but overall it seems like the two could have a lot of fun together.

I can't tell much without exact birth times, because I find house placements/moon signs/rising signs very, very important in synastry. You should try to get his birth time, Gem!
