Can you tell me a bit about this guy's character?
He's quiet and really shady.

hide and seek. Well his moon in the 12th house in scorpio explains it.

It would be hard to say why without an ASC because its your outer mask to the world. Plus planets in the top or bottom half can tell you whether someone is extroverted or introverted, and the western and eastern hemispheres says whether they are people focused or self focused.

"Shady" in what respect? Are we talking about this guy's love life?

Obviously there is a grand trine between his Saturn in Capricorn (cautious, responsible), his Mars in (steadfast, down to earth) Taurus and his Mercury in (reasonable, intelligent) Virgo. So, on a first glance, his mental/intellectual mindest seems to be quite reliable (at least for himself), it gives the impression of a serious, self-confident, clever person.

Sun is widely squaring his Mars - a dash of "temper" added.

Venus squaring his Moon-Pluto-conjunction exactly - THAT would be the only indicator of some "hide and seek"-element I can see. Moon conjunct Pluto: He's a control freak, in a way. Feels "swept away" too easily by his feelings - is afraid of losing control in this regard. And/or is a master of psychological/mind reading abilities - a very strong emotional life - especially with that brooding Scorpio-influence. And this intense (!) emotional outset is, somehow, is in conflict whith his (playful) Venus in Leo. He craves lightheartedness and playfulness, he's attracted by this - but his intense emotional life somehow denies this for him. He might act "playful" from a superficial point of view. But underneath ... there are strong controlling/possesive tendencies.

But again: This is the only "hidden" factor I can see here.

Maybe he is suffering from a deeply rooted fear of being abandoned. Maybe he finds it hard to trust someone else, in love. I believe that he will never let himself be "run over" by love/temptation - or that he would never show that. He's trying to keep safe, to protect his (wounded? suspicous?) heart. Absolute sincerity would be necessary to "convince" that man that he is loved.

Two things jump out at me that say shady. The first is his moon conj pluto in scorpio. He has a need to control and to do whatever it takes to feel powerful. If he doesn't find a healthy outlet then it will turn dirty.
The other thing is saturn conj neptune in capricorn. Again a control issue, this time with neptune directing the outlet to more subversive actions.

Moon in the 12th - hides feelings, or tries to. Sometimes to the point of disowning them and even being contemptuous of them at a younger age. He'll outgrow it (hopefully).
Moon conjunct Pluto almost exactly makes it harder.
12th house is where we put things we sometimes don't want to look at.

Venus square Pluto...love is never easy and really complicated. Until he knows himself better, he might use love to manipulate others and it would be easy. That's the 'easy out' of Venus square Pluto. They can use a person's love against them.

10th house sun - he needs to feel in charge. This is not a bad thing, but he might fall back on that and come off as incredibly bossy/critical at times, especially with Mars squaring his Sun.

None of this stuff is 'bad', it's just what he does with it initially before he gets his groove on how to deal with the aspects because some of them are pretty growth-oriented.
