My saturn is in pisces and when I go defensive I either (sort of)play victim in hopes others see what a meanie they are, or I am so vague and nebulous that you can't pin me down.My sister on the other hand has saturn in aries. She is of the school that the best defense is a good offense. What about you? IP: Logged |

Good Girl, I'm so happy to see you posting again, I've missed you !!!I've got Saturn in Cancer, so I tend to initially go through a whiny 'No one loves me' dance in my head, then completely withdraw into a shell and become very icy and unreceptive. I've been told that I come off as extremely cold and detached when I get to that level because I cut off my feelings, and those feelings are too painful to handle. It's an easy out in a way. I think it's interesting that with Saturn reigning over whatever sign, we embody the negative qualities of it in defense. IP: Logged |

Libralove, look at negative traits of Capricorn and that's your defense. You can maybe be very matter-of-fact when you are feeling cornered. Maybe you use the word 'should' a lot and can tend to be bossy when provoked. IP: Logged |

Wouldn't Mars emphasize defenses more than Saturn? IP: Logged |

Maybe capricorn's deffense would be the cold shoulder, or taking a superior attitude.IP: Logged |

Everyone is different... But When Saturn and Mars are in the same element or sign its hard what is the defense or the offense. IP: Logged |

Saturn in Sagittarius..I try to act really smart and convince the other person I AM right. I get defensive quickly especially to personal attacks..I get stubborn and try to make you feel inferior or worse than you made me feel. Did someone say Sagittarius is childish lol? ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon Mercury:: Sagittarius Venus::Scorpio Mars::Pisces IP: Logged |

Looks like any way you slice it I'll be a talker. Saturn in Gemini in the 1st Mars in Scorpio in the 6th Moon in Virgo in the 4th or 5th Venus, Mercury in Sagittarius in the 7th I think there's always a point in my defense, and I communicate it. IP: Logged |

GOODGIRL, on Saturn in Pisces you wrote: quote: I am so vague and nebulous that you can't pin me down.
Gosh! This is a great description!!!;-) I had been quite close to someone who has this placement ... and for me, his partner/opponent, his Saturn in Pisces (cj. his DSC) felt exactly that way! My own Saturn is in TAURUS (in 6th), also quite close to my DSC. Guess I can be stubborn in a way - another important thing that I noticed on my way of behaving "persistent/defensive" is: Claiming and proving that "I can do it alone!!! I don't need anyone to support me!" I definitely manage to work in the background, silently and on my own for certain times, if neccessary. That's a way of "protecting my turf" in a way ... not letting anyone else mingle with my stuff...;-) IP: Logged |

Saturn in Sag. I either... 1) make the offender look ridiculous and/or 2) Tell it like it is.... and forget about sparing the details. My virgo moon will *go* there. IP: Logged |

I do exactly this, too. I wish I could stop. I always end up feeling bad later, like I wish I'd just reached out and let on I was hurt, and changed the situation.
