My friend contacted me some days ago asking if I could look into the horoscope. She`s going to go to a concert in may, and since she really likes the singer, she wondered, if there could be any kind of contact (I guess asking for an autograph or something like that). Now, this morning I had the idea to make a horary for that question. But which date do I use? The one when she sent me the mail with that queston? Or the one of this morning, when I had the idea to make a horary? IP: Logged |

Since you're casting the horary for her, from what I've read, it's 'official' the moment you, the astrologer, draw it up. So it's regardless of the date she gives. It all starts when you cast. IP: Logged |

The proper time to draw up the chart is when the question is absolutely clear. If she asked the question properly in her email, then you draw up the chart for the time the question was correct and clear. If you had to clear up the question with her or for yourself, then you calculate the chart for the moment the question is clear.By clear I mean the question is clearly understood in a technical way that can be properly answered by the chart. DD Did she tell you an exact question? If she wasnt exact with her question, then the best is to phone her and ask what she meant exactly. And that should be the date for the horary chart. The horary chart will only give the right answer if the question asked properly (so that its obvious and clear), thats where you can help her. (but you cant really form the question in her place, only if she asks you to do it) If her question from days ago is exact and clear for you, then you can make the chart for that time. IP: Logged |

Yes, the question was clear to me.But do I use the time she sent the mail, of do I need to use the time I read it (which will be a problem, as I donīt remember, what exact time I read it) IP: Logged |

Then try the time she sent you the mail, and if the chart is valid and describes the situation then you can read it.IP: Logged |

According to a friend of mine who reads horary, you use the time you draw up the question clearly. If she were the one reading the chart, she would go by the email she sent. But since *you* are the one drawing it up, then *you* are the one who asks the question for her. When I get my horary session, I ask my friend the question, and then he draws it up. It's him who is doing the reading. Not me. And he's always been right. I'm not a stickler for much, but I *know* for horary these are the rules and they do tend to be rigid. Ask the question and then draw the chart. I guess you can do either way, but horary doesn't do wiggle room. It's totally up to you though... IP: Logged |

Well, actually I have drawn up both. The first one (her time) gave an ascendant of 0°09 Sagittarius - too early. Maybe that was the - subconscious- reason I waited before asking the question?WEll, the second one - she will not like the answer, I fear. And today is her birthday. :sighs: Would she be represented by 1st house? or am I the first house, as I do the reading and she is represented by 11th house (as she is my friend)?
Oops: I just saw I misread the question. So I guess I am doing a horary for now, as it is just now that I really understood her question?

The question was: "Will he `sense`me like the last time?" (they apparently had been having eye-contact). But, which house represents her?

WOW that is freaky! The ASC is exactly opposite to the opposite of that last question (the one I had n mind). And mean down to the minute! Also interstng, this ASC is 21° Cancer and she has Cancer - ASC and Cancer Moon, (the snger`s Venus exactly conjunct her ASC, interestngly). And her Mercury is on 21° Capricorn - and it is a pretty Mercuran-Neptunian question, isn`t it? Interesting, though, I am the one who has an exact conjunction with this horary ASC, as it is exactly conjunct my Vertex and ERos and opposes my Sun-Moon-mp. lol IP: Logged |

1st house. And the Moon as well.* and the singer will be the 7th house IP: Logged |

Tghank you,is it true, that the other is always the 7th house, no matter how superfical the connection may be? IP: Logged |

If you dont define who is the person in question for you (like my bf, my sister, my boss... etc.) then yes, you always have to use the 7th house.IP: Logged |

I guess, if there ever has been a horary that screams NO, then it must be this one! Interestingly though,e ven though traditionally the outer planets aren`t used, Moon is trine Neptune - it fits the symbolism so well. The sensing part with the risk of being selfdeluding and dreamy.

Yes, and in fact that trine to Neptune will be the only aspect of the Moon before it changes sign, so we can say that its VOC.The Moon - using regiomontanus - is sitting exactly at the cusp of the 12 house, which can show that she longs for sth which is hard to reach. And unfortunately the Moon is very weak in Gemini, and being in the 12th doesnt really help. The Moon is in Saturn's triplicity, so she pretty much like the singer, but theres no mutual reception, whihc could compensate the VOC Moon. Very interesting though that Saturn (him) is retograde, which shows that its not the first time she goes to his concert. But even though this chart says no for the question, it doesnt mean that she cant have a good time at the concert IP: Logged |

HOw does that thing with the receptions work? Somehow it still confuses me.So Moon is in Gemini. Since Capricorn is on the DSC, it rules the singer. But how is that Gemini-Moonin Saturn`s triplicity? Is it because Saturn rules Aquariu naturally?
