Has anyone had an eclipse exactly conjuct their Sun?I heard the eclipse on February 9-10, 2009 is going to be at 21 degrees Leo...my Sun is 21 degrees Leo. How should I use this eclipse energy? IP: Logged |

Does this have a lot to do with the house your Sun is in?IP: Logged |

*bump*Please help me plan for the eclipse so I can work with the energy consciously! As an 8th house sun, of course I'm hoping for total personal transformation. And, what are your eclipse plans? IP: Logged |

Lunar eclipses generally denote completions, thus a lunar eclipse falling on your Sun would be indicative of some phase of your life coming to a completion. Look to the house and aspects for clues to where you may find this. Here is a good site for reference: http://www2.bitstream.net/~bunlion/bpi/Eclipse.html Look to see if anything hit sensitive points in your chart. I experienced a partial Lunar eclipse on my Sun back in Spring of 1995. Later in that year I ended a long-term relationship and moved out of state. IP: Logged |

from what i read on the new moon wishes thread there is a period of about 3 days (called the dark of the moon) which is very potent. so i would think it doesn't have to be EXACT to feel the effects in a major way.i had a solar eclipse on my sun on my 50th birthday. a great day and a great year! where i went from being basically broke to living in a gorgeous house and prospering on all accounts - so much energy in fact that i had to "correct back" in many areas...since august of 07 every single one of these has been on a significant part of my chart and my life has changed immeasurably, moving me towards my life-choices slowly,in some cases, like lightning bolts in others - but inexorably inching me towards my chosen field and relationships. almost spooky! hope this isn't too far off to the sidelines but what are the effects of being BORN on one of these eclipses and especially if your sun or moon is conjunct the eclipse degrees? This eclipse is opposing my Sun (19 Aqua).Last year there was an eclipse on Feb 7, the day before my birthday and the eclipse was conjunct my Sun. Honestly, nothing of note has happened. IP: Logged |
