Which jupiter transits did you really enjoy? Which ones were good for your relationships, friendships, career and general well being. Also have you ever experienced jupiter conjunct ascendant? If so, what was that transit like?

Regards

if jupiter was in taurus in 1999 then i am not sure if jupiter was the reason why the year was the best in my life.

that was the year i was in 10th grade. the final exams were approaching in may. i was dont with my prelims by 20th june. and while i cleared all subjects it didnt seem like i would score anything substantial in the finals to get in to the science stream in 11th grade a.k.a. high school.

thats when a sudden change came in me. i started studying regularly. infact i would try solving atleast 3 papers everyday. at the peak of my study mania i was so focused that i would skip bath for as long as 4 days! only so that i dont feel like getting out of the house. and it didnt make be dull at all. rather i enjoyed everything i studied. it was amazing. i scored 97 out of 100 in math and 81 out of 100 in science. a sure shot score to enter science. life changed for ever. it were the best days of my life. i had never studied like that before. and never studied like it after ever. and it wasnt that i was just memorizing stuff. i followed each and everything i read. it was like being in a state of flow... like getting lost in painting a picture or playing a musical instrument for 3 straight months!

Ace,

That sounds just like Jupiter, actually. Which house was it in?

Ooooh! I've got some upcoming exciting Jupiter transits which is extra exciting for me since Jupiter rules my Asc.
Jupiter trine Venus and Jupiter sextile Saturn. Anyone familar with these transits?
quote:
Jupiter trine Venus: Pleasantly lazy
End of April 2009 until end of December 2009: You feel very light-hearted and sociable now and want to spend as much time as possible with others. This is a good time for taking a vacation, attending social gatherings, or participating in other forms of amusement and fun. It is not conducive to any kind of serious effort, because you are inclined to feel pleasantly lazy and unenterprising. There is also a very strong self- indulgent streak to this influence. Be very careful not to eat or drink too much.
Fortunately you have the ability to make others feel good if they are unhappy or depressed, and as a result, people enjoy being around you at this time. You may have the chance to do favors for others that will eventually be returned. And since you feel generous and giving, you will not mind doing them.
In some instances this influence has a way of drawing money or other material resources to you. But don't sit around planning how to spend a sudden windfall from heaven, as many people do with this influence. It is a possibility, but only one among many and not the most likely.
Actually it is more likely that you will spend money on objects that you consider beautiful. Others may not appreciate your taste at this time, however, because it tends toward the flashy or gaudy. Be careful that you don't get stuck with something that will offend your own taste in a soberer moment.
You have a great desire for beauty, however, and if your taste is sound you will surround yourself with objects that you can enjoy for years and that will also gain in value.

Jupiter sextile Saturn: Prudence and caution
Mid May 2009 until beginning of January 2010: During this time you approach expansion and growth from a very careful and pragmatic point of view. Everything you do, every plan you make is characterized by prudence and caution. You are interested in what could be, but this concern is well balanced by your concern for what is already. You are neither idealistic nor excessively conservative.
You do not see duties and obligations as limitations upon your life but as routes to achieving wisdom and maturity. This is a fundamentally correct view, but you must balance your need for freedom with your need to get work done in order to see it that way. That is what you are doing now. You are oriented to work and duty, but you can also see that certain apparent responsibilities are really not validly yours. And you are not willing to take on someone else's share of the work unless you can see real benefit from doing so.
In financial terms, you are very thrifty at this time. You can see what the best investments are, and you proceed very carefully while putting your money into them. Therefore these investments are more likely than most to work out well.
During this period you will discover how to turn your ideals into reality, partly because you can see which goals and ideals are realistic and which are not. You discard whatever is not realistic, and you work for your goals very patiently, laying a solid groundwork for success.
In business this is usually a good time, because your prudence and thrift enable you to separate the real opportunities from the illusory ones and thereby make real gains. You will be inclined to expand your business, but you will do so very cautiously rather than incautiously.
