So there was this guy that I dated, and he was SOOOOOOOO cheap! He would be the one to invite ME out, then I would end up picking him up in my car, and then paying for the whole date. I'm NOT one of those old fashioned girls who expects the guy to pay for everything, but he would not pay for ANYTHING! It wasn't even going Dutch, I had to pay. When the bill would come, he would sit there and just look at me.
He didn't even pretend to reach for his wallet. It was soooo gross. Once when we went ice skating, he brought his 20 yr old skates just so he didn't have to pay to rent. The admission tickets for him and I turned out to be $34. I gave him $40, and he took the money, and even kept the change! Guess what sign he was? IP: Logged |

well i dated one for 3 years and he was happy enough to let me buy all of his clothes, that he didnt get free from his company of course. all of the groc, 1/2 the bills, he made more than me and was CHEAP. Bet he misses my paycheck and generosity even still today. I understand broke, I do not understand cheap.IP: Logged |

aries can be cheap too. my aries dad (adopted) took gas money from me to give me a ride to the airport. I never asked for anythingin over 20y ears, I ask for a ride andh e susre took gas money! the right thing to do is offer, but..he took it! wow. also let my daughter pay for lunch, grampa, lets goout for lunch, I havent seen you in so long, and let her pick up the tab, and of course she is in college and he has a healthy bank account. Yes, there is definitely a BIG difference btwn broke and CHEAP! This guy was NOT broke, he was cheap. Ugh, gross. I had that "ick" feeling about him the whole time after that.IP: Logged |

dunno guys, virgo, cappy, taurus and leo have all been generous with me and sag. cappy and virgo like quality therefore selective, not cheap sag - bad with money - will give you anything if they have it taurus - can be cheap - but i say more focused on what they choose to buy leo - mostly generous unless you make them mad, then, not a dime dont know enough cancers to put them in this equation. gemgemgem - i know it blew me away that he took my gas money - should have just payed to park at the airport! I dated a guy for a few months when I was younger... I didn't have a drivers license, but he did and he also had a car. So, we took his car every time we were going someplace. He picked me up, drove me home and all, nothing strange or cheap about it - and he often gave me a ride when I had to go somewhere. I never asked for this but he offered it and I was very thankful for it.One day after those months he told me that he had been summing up all his bills for the gas from when we first started dating. He had made some sort of calculation of how much of this was for me, and then he told me how much I had cost him. I was like "lol, ok, what am I supposed to do with this info?" and he didn't even say it to complain or anything, he just told me like it was good for me to know or something, I don't know.. very weird. dang nyah - that is a story! I would have said you drak 352 cokes from my mothers refridgerator during that time also, lets do the math!virgo's do keep track - i had one do something for me once and they said -well last year you bought my grandson all those clothes and stuff, so i guess he felt he owed me? very odd. I would guess aries or capricorn. My aunt is married to a pieces/aries (cusp) and he lets her pick up the bill all the time. They have their own credit cards. When I was in high school, I dated a capricorn and he would always take my lunch money. What a jerk  I was young and dumb for letting him do that LOL He would even buy himself something to eat and not offer me anything!IP: Logged |

As a capricorn I'm not cheap at all and even if I were cheap, my pride wouldnt allow me to act cheap, if you see what I mean. I would be way too embarrassed to seem cheap. I know a number of capricorns and none of them are cheap, but as someone already mentioned, we are selective that's true. So if I was 'selecting' you and bothered to take you out, I would never dream of not giving that person the full generous treatment.As for virgo, I know 4 virgos - two of them are some of the most generous people I've ever met, they wouldnt be cheap in a million years. The other two virgos, well what can I say, they not only keep score, but have displayed somewhat similar tendencies as that outrageous date GemGemGem was talking about. IP: Logged |

Idk, the Libra I dated (with 4 personal planets in Libra) was broke but still paid for stuff sometimes. Other times he would let me pay. He was about equality even though I had more money than him. I wouldn't call him cheap.Idk, I don't know any cheap people. Most of my friends are poor, but they're not CHEAP. They'll skimp on themselves but if they're taking someone out to dinner, they pay. annaf, I totally know what you mean about pride, and not wanting to "look" cheap! LOL! That's why I paid, because I can't stand that awkward silence, and waiting for someone else to pay. My favorite is when a man pays the bill secretly when I'm in the bathroom or something, so we don't even have to sit through the whole awkward moment of "who's going to pay!" That always wins him points! In my experience the most generous man I've ever gone on a date with was a Sagittarius! Nyah, I dated a Virgo and he was so cheap in the beginning. We would go out to eat and he wouldn't order a dish, and then eat off of mine. Then when the bill came, he wouldn't pay cause he would say he didn't order anything. LOL. I ended up dating him for 7 years, and I must say he got more and more generous as time went by, and ended up paying for all my vacations, meals, and rent! He was generous, but just cautious in the beginning. He didn't want to spend unless he knew the return would equal or exceed the expenditure! LOL!
