The person I am passionately attracted to does not have any of these planets in my 1st or 7th house. Uh-Oh, that may be telling me something. My Saturn is in his House 1. Most of our planets are in each other's 8th houses. Composite chart has Jupiter conj Neptune in 7th.

No, this has nothing to do with me, it's just an observation in synastries!

I find it interesting how the 1st and 7th houses come up so often between couples and I wondered how it felt for each of them.

perhaps you can feel it more in the 1st house than some of the others, because planets like venus in the 1st will focus its attention on you, you in your life.

and perhaps it stands out more than some one focusing venus energies on something non romantic.

i don't know.

Actually, yes. Most guys I had romance had one of those planets in my 1st or 7th house.

Interesting. I would say 7th too but it's amazing how many planets pop up in people's 1st houses in synastry!

I wonder if the 1st house makes for more imbalance in relationships and 7th is more balanced partnership feel?

I have a problem. I seem to go for people that are fellow Sag. Asc. so they're Saturn/Uranus conjunction opposes my Venus (which I have as well). I need to date people that aren't the same age as me!

But back to your question, I suppose it would be the first house. But I'll probably be drawn to Gemini influences more, once I overcome my own Venus opposition complex. Basically I'm drawn to Sag influences and it opposes my Venus, Saturn, and Uranus, so all my connections with others have been short lived.

Good question.

For me the answer is the 1st, hands down. They make me feel attractive. I like who I am around them, there is a real sense of identifying with them.

But also I have saturn in the 7th so if someone is in my 7th they are triggering my saturn.

You would think so, huh? Most of the guys that I've dated (and I got their chart), they had contacts with my 8th and 5th houses.

definitely the 7th house! People's planets in my 1st house feel very flattering, but I've never been attracted to these overlays. In Frienship yes, but not romantically.
