self realization??

My husband has little going on with the outter planets, except a sun/moon square to neptune, which I think clouds the ability to see the self for what it is .

He rarely can put aside his feelings to step outside the situation and assess why he does what he does.

Do you think it's the lack of contact with uranus/pluto or even saturn?? or is it just a Leo thing?? (Leo asc, with sun/moon conj, and venus/mercury conj.)?

I've read that if the Sun and Mercury are tightly conjunct it is hard for the individual to be objective.

All of the people in my life with the Sun\Mercury conjunction, rarely show any objectivity & are somewhat self absorbed.

My Sun and Merc are tightly conjunct and I can be very objective and am in no way self absorbed. I'm a very rational and logical person.

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon)
And yes, i'm a guy!

That sounds alot like a sun/moon conjunct problem on its own. Every person I've known with this aspect has this problem. The square to neptune only makes it worse. O__o

I've read that objectivity comes when you have many planets abouve the horizon(top half of your chart)
outer planets give a person more of a connection with the collective unconscious but doesn't mean they'll be objective
