So, how's your love life, in comparison to all those hard aspects?

Venus in Virgo is not so bad. It would make you attracted to conservative, mercurial types I would think.
Saturn in the 7th could just mean you marry an older man, or you will marry later in life.
Venus square neptune (isn't that a cheater aspect? just kidding...)

I think all the saturn just means there is a seriousness in dealing with personal relationships. No worries Emma! Hard work reaps big rewards!

Venus in Virgo gets a bad rep, but god knows why! They're sweet and steadfast and loyal from my experience! Don't worry about it, Emma...it just means you have impeccable standards!

hmmm

past record:

two three serious one sided unrequited involvements..........

and 1 current r/ship too much hard work for me
started on same grounds of one sidedness one yr back...but all these aspects i guess also make me a persistent a**hole...combine it with my leo sun and taurus mars stubborness......... things hv changed in a positive way ..but our uranus aspects (venus sq uranus, mars oppossite uranus) makes it a rocky bed

he has venus trine uranus, and my saturn conjuct his venus and trine his uranus

our chart rulers (mine saturn and his venus) are also conjt....

so bottomline...i am not gvng up....i am there to win ....somebody stop me

also his name asteroid conjucts exactly my sun, and our chart rulers conjct composite sun.....

I agree with MVM, I think it gets that reputation cause it makes someone extra picky in selecting a mate.

I don't believe in "settling" for less than I want either. I've been feeling very Virgo ever since my saturn return. (Probably my progressed asc in Virgo too) I find fault with almost every guy I meet now. And if I can't find something physically or mentally wrong with him, I look for it astrologically! LOL!!

Speaking from experience of applying the Law of Attraction, if you find fault with others attracted to you, then those who you are attracted to will also find fault with you.
If you wait and wait for the Knight, you will attract more waiting [does not mean you have to kiss the frogs though ].
Instead, if you think and feel that you are very attractive, deserving of a great relationship and lovable, then you will attract other men of the same mindset.

I love my Saturn in 7th.

Don't assume this is the placement of doom.

In my own career, and more personally in outside interests, I always seem to establish good working relationships with older men.

At home, my husband is a few years older than me. He has Sun Conjunct Saturn and is a mature, serious-minded, career-orientated person. I can't stand being messed about (Venus in Taurus, ruler of the 7th) so this suits me fine.

i agree with IQ

Ive been also reading the Secret, and by the law of atraction, you will always attract to you, what you are thinking.

If you think everybody has flaws, and dont deserv you, than you will atract by the force of your Mind, people who will treat you like you dont deserve.

Instead, you have to focus on what you WANT and DESERVE,and you can even make a list of things you would like your man to be,and picture you with him,as beinng the love of your life.

FOR instance,my lover has had only one gf before me.He atracted her to his life in a period where he though he didnt deserved to be happy,to be loved,to be worth of having a love union with others. He was angry and mad with the world, and mad with life in those times. So,he atracted to him the girl that it would make him feel even worse - unworth of love and respect-that lasted for almost 4 years. He ended up with her and even if he suffered,i know he found me cause finally he understood that life is Love.

Absolutely Diandra. I have been using the Law of Attraction for years now and it totally works!

My kids listen to the secret every day on school run for 2 hours!

It is sad cause i only discovered that a few weeks ago

but is more worth later, than never isnt it?

im becoming more confident about myself and life in general.

im reading it slow in order to absorb better.

Im glad that in school teatchers are starting to think more about the secret - still when i talk about this to the majority of people, they think im too naive for beliving that.

The old adage "you are what you eat" is true... but they weren't talking about food, they were talking about THOUGHTS digested

I always say to people "your thoughts of yesterday are your feelings of today and tomorrow's reality"

I agree that self hate only manifests in the external world as more negativity. I've been giving myself self-love, which is important, because as humans we are conditioned by our society to value self-hate, in fact being egotistic is just another aspect of self-hate!

Emma embrace your saturnian challenges! I also have a Venus - Saturn/Uranus opposition, and Venus is in Gemini, so I'm also a fellow Mercury ruled Venus! In fact the Saturn energy probably balances out flighty Mercury.

emma venus in virgo is not a problem, it's just the guys who don't appreciate it who are the problem!! haha, just joking. but i have this, and saturn in 7th only 10 degrees away. it has saved me putting up with plenty of frogs, though i have had some very GOOD relationships.

it is(they are) a very loyal placement, willing to do a great deal for those they love, and while critical faculties may be a bit overdeveloped a) lots of partners actually like someone who will call them on their garbage and b) as you consciously work on the negative manifestations you actually burn the dross out of these positions (does that make sense? i hope) working with the LoA is a big help actually!

everything said above makes perfect sense. though my partners have not necessarily been "older" they have been generally mature for their age, frequently with a lot of capricorn/saturn influences, but far from boring!!

you CAN have fun with it!

I think it's very important to have a positive outlook about love. I definitely think the energy you project is the energy you'll attract. But I don't think being picky is necessarily putting out bad energy. If you meet a guy, and you see things in him that you don't want, I don't think that's putting negative energy out there, I think it's about seeing that he's not a right fit for you. (and not necessarily because you think you're better than him.)

I admit, I go a little too far in finding faults sometimes, but that has more to do with self preservation than negative thinking or self hate.

Hi.

yes but that was not what i was saying.
It is good when we discern about what he want and dont want in a relationship-therefore that applies also to people´s charactheristics and personality.

But the main thing to do is THINK ONLY about what you want, instead of what you dont want:for instance:yu meet someone who is excessively lazy - ok..dont want that so you will meet some more.
Then you think to yourself lease i do not want another person likfe the one before.." - but BANG while you are concentrating yourself on the specific fault,is is that that you are going to meet again through the next one.

Yes, always be positive in thought and never say "i dont want" or "i never attract" cos the Universe doesn't 'get' negatives and just deletes them from your sentence

cosmic Ordering works wonders too!

Meh. The only ptolemaic aspects my Venus makes are squares (to Saturn and Uranus and my ASC, the ones to Saturn/Uranus are exact). And I've got Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the 7th, with Uranus and Saturn conjunct my DSC (aka opposite my ASC) by only 2 degrees. Plus I've got Venus conjunct Juno so all those squares and crap also square my Juno.

I have a rich love life. :] Don't worry about it. I see every hard aspect in my chart as a life lesson.
