Acting like my moon in aries rarely works to my advantage when it comes to ceratin things like making friends.

Most of the friends + lovers I've had, almost all of them were attracted to me somehow, they were the ones to approach and initiate or strengthen the bonds of the relationship.

Also in general, I know not everyone is like this, but I feel like when I wait in patience rather than attacking situations like a proper Sun in Scorpio + Mars in Virgo, I'm a lot more successful.

But sometimes in relationships, I meet people that I find really interesting and I make the first move but it sort of gets stuck because I can't carry on with the attitude or feel like I've weirded them out lol..

My libra in venus should prevent that, but I don't know why this is happening. Any insight + How about you guys ?

It feels so good and right when I listen to my instincts though.

I have

moon trine mercury,jupiter,uranus
moon opposite mars, venus

I know what'cha mean. I'm the opposite of you since I have a fire Sun and a Water moon. The contrast between fire and water can be intense no? I think it makes a person really dynamic though.

Anyways, when I act more like my Moon sign-Pisces I seem to be more approachable to people, this is especially true since the Sun is in Pisces right now. Men are also drawn to me when I act more like my moon, which is strange because I don't like letting my guard down, but when I do I feel fantastic.

My life often feels like a struggle to act like my Sun, not like my Moon (I'm a Leo, Cancer Moon.)

When I act like my Sun, I end up attracting people and getting fan letters and being brave and being admired and having FUN and having opportunities fall into my lap. When I act like my Moon, it's all about being overemotional and wanting to call my mother.

I have Virgo Sun/Pisces Moon, people must resonate with my Moon more because Im surrounded by Pisces and this is not very good for my Sun because Virgo and Pisces are opposites but I find them easy to get along with and love but when my Virgo Sun makes an appearance things grow awry and this usually scares the mess out of them.

It's always an inner struggle, making me wish that my Sun was a differen sign or my Moon, heck I don't care if I was double Earth or Double Water, anything is better then this Sun opposition Moon stuff.

No, for me. I'm way out of balance because I do my libra moon and neglect my capricorn sun because I "want to be liked, no friction, etc". They are in square.Pooh!

I'm with you, GG. When I'm naturally my virgo moon in everyday life it seems to be like repellant to people. I blame the plutonian undertones to it, but my moon is just not social anyways. My air venus is what draws people in to me, even though I feel to be more my moon and Cancer sun.

Lucia23-that's really funny

Pisces moons seem to be comfortable about socializing with their moons.

My venus is in air too but I feel like I only use my venus in libra for people I hardly know and don't have to communicate that much.. After meeting for the very first time, its more about my cancer asc. But before even meeting someone, at first sight, I come off as virgo mars-scorpio sun, if I have friends around and I'm having fun they may get to see my moon in aries

If I act like my Moon I'll start eating everything in sight and hold them to my bosom so no one could steal them away from me.
And buy pretty, luxurious things while I'm at it.

Dazzled, does that make you a Taurus moon?

Cancer Moons are emotional eaters. I'm only thin because I have Saturn all over my chart and all up on my Moon's ass.

My Moon wants to overeat whenever nobody loves me enough. [/brushing back a tear, calling mother for comfort]

Yeap Lucia smart guess!
Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon with Pisces somewhere.
Signs of emotional eaters!!

I binge on chocolates, whether or not I'm sad lol. But the funny thing is, I don't have a big appetite, so I feel the urge to eat all the pretty things I see but it's like a window-shopping thing. Look no touch.
I am craving for Sushi now(and I just ate my lunch).

By the way, I read that Cancer Moons/Moon in 4th House are the most patient and understanding listeners of all Moons.
So with a Cancer Moon, you might draw people to pour all their problems to you.

i had a girl tell me i act more virgoish.
i often feel this tug of war of wanting to be the center of attention and be admired and then be of help to others.
i do what i feel at the moment...i'm very illogical.
however people don't really like having their flaws pointed out and i can spot these a mile away...i find a better balance of my leo sun, aries mars, and pisces asc.

Yep. And I will listen and comfort forever and ever. My Moon is in the 7th (with my Cancer Venus and Saturn too), so I'll pour just boatloads of energy into boyfriends.

But my Leo Sun would rather be the center of attention!

Dazzled, what's your Venus?

I love Taurus Moons...so comforting. My Taurus Moon friend always remembers everyone's favorite food and surprises us with it on holidays. Her ideal life would probably involve having a vast flower garden and a vast vegetable garden. (But she's also an Aries...her Sun wants to go skydiving.)

No actually it doesn't work out for me, being a Cancer Moon, because I act real moody and clingy which is a put off to alot of people...it does bring sympathetic ear sometimes though , thats the only good thing about it. I have it better when I act like a Libra(even though I don't want to).

Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

I act like my moon a lot - Sagittarius. Doesn't help that my mercury is in Sag, too..

Does not really help me out. I tend to act too carefree and not take things that seriously.

What works to my advantage the best is acting out my 1st house Venus and 5th house Mars.

No it doesn't work for me, my moon in Aquarius is too quirky and friendly for most people. Since I have sun conjunct pluto and mercury in Scorpio I think very intensely but react in a friendly quirly way which is at odds really and I think people don't think I'm being genuine or something!
Then being detached from my feelings from the whole situation doesn't help

I am usually very quiet and I like to be on my own; I am not used to and I dont like being around people, I usually try to hide somewhere not to draw attention to my persona because people often confuse my disinterest with shyness and start annoying me trying to cheer me up and I hate it because I don't want to be rude to someone who is trying to help and honestly believes they are doing the right thing; I have the reputation of a weirdo or an aloof person but in rare cases when I am around people I really like or I am in a very, very good mood I start acting like my Sagittarius Moon: being carefree, spontaneous, hilarious and charismatic - I wish I was more often in my sagittarian moods I know that people that used to knowing me only by my Cap ASC and Sun on IC get perplexed and dont know what to think but really I am not trying to shock anyone and I cannot get into one of those saggie moods whenever I want, I just have no control over it so, yes, I love my Moon in Sag

Not really. I have a Gemini moon and when I'm feeling moony I can talk to anybody and find something in common with everybody. I almost feel I can be all things to all people. Then I feel I let people down if I don't continue the association because the Libra sun judgment kicks in after a while. If I'm not in a moony state the next time I see the person they sort of think "What happened to her? She's really quiet".

ha! wheelsofcheese, same

Gemini moon too, it is said we are fickle - I think this is true. Also yeah, don't know if you're like this, but I can't be depended upon as someone's crutch (ha, no pun intended! but may still apply, teehee). Yeah sometimes I'm good for ongoing support but other times I think 'oh no, can't handle it - too tedious' and I'll be doing some Tarot in my head in the meantime on something else - disgusting admission but true...

However, if I'm so inclined, we can go to the stars and back on a D&M and I may even have made a hobby out of you, haha! The next week tho, if you're wanting a recap, I'm just as likely to think, 'Meh! get over it' or I might barely even be able to manage more than a wave from across the street...oopsie

My Aries moon isn't exactly comfy in the 12th, and in my mooniness I tend to snap from out of nowhere - blow up and erupt and then just get back to normal. Usually I put a lid on it when I can (Taurus rising and my Virgo sun seem to help keep it in check), though when I was younger I'd just blow up from out of nowhere - the opposition from Uranus doesn't help lol.

It does help keep me optimistic though, no matter how bad things get, I seem to bounce back well enough, and for that I am grateful for the Aries moon.
Plus, it's also good in emergency situations - instincts take over pretty quickly and assess the situation, so that can be pretty handy.

But for day to day living, it's kind of difficult.
With the 12th house, I do tend to withdraw and retreat as well, and guard my privacy jealously. But sometimes it can go overboard. I feel like Moon in Aries in the 12th is a bit like a well-armed warrior whose armor rusts from the water, and corrodes.

When I am surrounded by spiritually oriented people and involved in activities that involve compassion, expressing my idealism, belief in unity and universal love in a positive environment, expressing myself through artistic/creative activities like poetry and dancing, acting like my Moon in Pisces works to my advantage. My Moon squares Neptune with only 1'23 orb too, and so double the emphasis.

I believe that acting like my Pisces Moon will help me make friends/fellowship at Spiritual Life Center(interfaith unity church)and be a good member/volunteer, career in the healing arts/Astrology,and the main reason I was placed on this Earth - my life purpose as a neurodiversity advocate for my fellow neurodivergents, giving back to the community like I was once helped by special education teachers/specialists.

I believe that acting like my Pisces Moon will help me find my future wife who will be ultrasensitive, empathetic spiritually oriented and into helping others. That would fit the anima of my Pisces Moon square Neptune in Sagittarius and Venus parallel Neptune. I am not sure if she will be a neurodivergent like me, but I believe that she will be tolerant and accepting of neurodiversity.

Raymond sounds like she will be ultra-feminine.
Your Moon is sooo emotional but with your Scorpio Sun that must make you very strong emotionally.

Does the Moon really rule your emotions or is it your responses to your emotions?
My Moon is square Chiron and I have had emotional hysteria but because my Moon is trine Saturn I've just about managed my emotions.
You know I find when I am talking about spiritual and psychological stuff to people I just want to say ...."Ofcourse I'm intense my sun is conjunct pluto" or "Saturn is right on my Venus, so we are experiencing a few relationship diffs". Then I wouldn't have to talk in circles with long drawn out conversations in order to communicate something psychological or spiritual I could simply just say "hey my mercury is in scorpio can't we just meditate on it?"
No need to be so pc with astrology either then. You would be less likely to take offense from a person if they were to say "Sorry I said your ass looks big in that I'm a Sagittarian"
It's great here at Lindaland that we can all talk, learn and understand the concepts behind the energy of the aspects. I think it saves years of therapy being able to read your own chart. I know now from experience when I get the feeling that someone just doean't like me it's likely that their sun is square mine (as well as the fact that I could be behaving in an arrogant manner). It's somehow more understandable why we just don't gel, our inherent natures are just too different to get along without making alot of effort.
Why I'm venting this I don't know but I just checked out the transits and voila.... the MOON is in Aries... opposite to my sun/pluto in first house.... Astrology never fails to amaze me.
I've just gone off topic too.
