I want to calculate my synastry with people on astro.com using draconic charts...and it won't let me!Is there a way I can get it to work? I only recently read about draconic charts and...whoa...my synastry with this guy I've been dealing with has connections, etc, but the draconic-to-natal for both of us looks SOOOO intense. But I'm bad at math and would really like to put the draconics into the system and look at them using all of astro.com's tools. Edited to clarify: I know how to create a draconic chart or draconic-natal comparison on astro.com, but for some reason it won't compare two people's charts this way. IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I am not sure it has that option to do both. I think it only does draco charts or the other kind, one or the other....most people, I think, just compare by looking at the separate charts (natal and draconic) and looking at the degrees. That's the only way I've done it in the past myself....I wish there were a simpler way to do it! IP: Logged |

No, unfortunately astro doesn't have the option to do this. However, Solarfire can compare any type of chart to any type of chart. I wish they had a Mac version of Solarfire as I almost use my Mac exclusively now. The workaround is to write down the info!\ and compare it that way. ------------------

Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon)

If you want a Synastry comparison between
2 Draconic charts, then you can do that on astro:Methods: -->Please select the type of chart you want.: --> Synastry and then go Options: --> Zodiac: --> WARNING: Draconic IP: Logged |

what exactly does a draconic chart tell you? how is it different than typical natal / synastry?in my draconic synastry w/ the guy i love we have our NN conjunct at 0'00 applying. hmmm IP: Logged |

I think the draconic north nodes always conjunct, Augentier. It's set for 0' degrees Aries for everyone.

Yes, the Draco NN is always 00 Aries.The Draco chart is actually the lunar node`s chart, and therefore representing what the lunar node`s represent. It`s a spiritual or "soul" chart, and also holds clues to past lives (if you believe in them). It`s part of our psyche, but it`s lying a bit underneath the surface, therefore being more "subtle" than tropical placements. Tropical relates more to the physical materialisation, while Draco`s relate to the spiritual realm.

I've just started working with this...literally yesterday...but so far, it really looks to me like when you feel a deep, karmic connection with someone, the synastry between their Draconic chart and your birth chart can show you the role that they play in your spiritual life.When the relationship feels Very Important to you from the very beginning, that can be the sign of a nodal connection. And I think if there's very intense synastry between your natal and someone's draconic chart, same feeling. It can have to do with feeling like the relationship is part of your greater destiny. does anyone know who feels the connection? If draco is - soul
and
trpical/natal is - body will the draco person feel the connection
vs. the natal person? (maybe draco feels more)
or

I'm reading it as--the tropical person feels the Draconic person's contacts. So, for example, with this guy I mentioned (who has said that he feels a deep connection to me, like I am part of his destiny), my draconic Venus is at an exact conjunction to his natal Sun, my Draconic Sun is conjunct his Moon and Psyche, and my Draconic Psyche is at a conjunction to his natal Eros, Mars, Venus, and Vertex. He would be the one to feel that intensity, I think. He says he just wants to be around me, soaking up my magic energy. Meanwhile, his Draconic Saturn is at an exact conjunction to my natal Sun, and also conjoins my Mercury and Vertex. And his Draconic Venus is at an exact conjunction to my natal Saturn. His draconic Sun, Moon, Merc, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Psyche fall in my natal 8th house, home of my natal Sun-Mars-Mercury...his draconic Venus, Mars, Pluto, and Ascendent hit my natal 7th house, home of my natal Moon-Venus-Saturn. I feel the relationship as pushing me to deal with a lot of REALLY challenging issues in my own psyche that have nothing to even do with him. It's bringing up deep, deep issues about my deepest self, my creative expression, my sexuality, and the way I love (or don't.) It has been really hard and caused me some pain, but in some ways it's been epically great...even though the relationship is not going to work on the everyday level, if that makes sense. IP: Logged |

Thank you for answering, that was very helpful. I don't mean to pry so you can tell me it is none of my business. Wondering why you said it won't work on everyday level? I wonder how it works when it is say your name in their natal chart. And in their draco planets fall there? This guy I know has my name in his natal at 10 and 12 gemini also at 5 aquar.
in his draco he his uranus at 10 , and mars at 12 gemini and venus at 5 also mercury at 4 aquar. thinking about it that may have been our karma playing out. I wonder if it would affect him as much as it affected me?
He is a soulmate but not sure how that would work?

Not sure what you mean about your name in their natal chart? I had to calculate all this stuff manually 'cause I couldn't do it on astro.com.That relationship won't work in everyday life as a romantic thing because, somehow, we just really push each other's buttons. He hurt me emotionally on purpose recently, and much as I care about him and he cares about me, I just can't have a relationship with game-playing and control issues at this stage of my life. (In synastry between our natals, we have a double-whammy Sun-Mercury square and Mercury-Mercury square, and I think both people would have to be very mature and committed to work with that challenge.) I understand their tropical with your draconic ect... What I am saying is if "His" draconic coinsides with 'His" own tropical?

one thing I just realized is that:
my dr venus is conjunct his dr vertex
my dr vertex conjunct his dr venus
