Cosmbobiology and Uranian Astrology have a different interpretation for the Midheaven too. The cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers consider it the most personal,important point. They look at transits,solar arcs,secondary progressions involving the Midheaven to rectify charts.

MC : Midheaven : PSY: The individual's personal awareness or consciousness.

some astrologers attribute the MC to the father, but not all. it stands for mother in some cases - mine in fact. my IC is directly on my dad's sun and my MC my mom's asc....IP: Logged |

well in your case that could clinch it. i think some of the confusion is that one house indicates family and roots environment, and the other your public face...which depending on your family could go either way..IP: Logged |
