I do hope I'm not alone on this but since the retrograde I've been going through an ugly period. I'm a Libra, so we people are always worrying about our looks, but I think this has been made extra tough because of the retrograde. I tend to turn my attention to my large nose and it's hard to look in the mirror sometimes. I'm about to enter the public eye for the first time which is a quite nerve-racking, although I'm going to have to get used to it if I want to work as an author. I took some publicity shots the other day but all I kept thinking about was how big my nose looked. Even though my love/hate relationship with my face goes way deep I will never resort to having plastic surgery. It's a long journey but I know the time will come when I'm finally able to see myself as beautiful. Has this retrograde affected how you feel about yourself? Your Venus is retrograde in Scorpio,the sign of its detriment,and its conjunct Mars (traditional ruler of Scorpio),and so a double whammy conjuncting the alpha star of Serpentis, Unukalhai which is said to have a Mars/Saturn influence. That could reflect how you feel unattractive.Transiting Saturn is squaring your Neptune,and that can be a transit that indicates insecurity. I have Venus in Scorpio conjunct Unukalhai myself, and my Venus is square Mars and contraparallel Saturn and parallel Neptune. I have t-square Moon square Saturn-Neptune opposition. I have a history of feeling unattractive and insecurity.
