EHP are more self-suuficient and are capable of initiating things independtly. They like to solve their problems and matters on their own.

extreme western emphasis can make one codependent.

Eastern half of the planet: setting where all that conquering crap happened, everybody's in a crazy system all that. What's happening on the western half of the planet at that time? Aboriginals walking around living of the land very seldomly destructive and so forth. The East came to the West, so it can be assumed that the habits of those born there are what is here now. (saying this from the western hemisphere myself)

On the other hand.. mass systems and such could well be made out of destructive greedy etc habits looking for their best interests independently not care about others Capricorny and all that, while western aboriginals seem to have had highly more moral livings connected to everything.

eastern and western hemispheres are the technical terms used by astrologers. it has got nothing to do with eastern and western people

When referring to Western Hemisphere, you mean of the planet earth, right? and it effecting the behavior/what have you of those born there, right? and thus humans originated at the west being compared to humans originated at the west makes sense to me..

according to amy keehn the love style and emotional needs of WHP are entirlely different from EHP. and a v WHP will be v incompatible with v EHP

in fact according to her this hemisphere balance should be one of the key points in analyzing relationships.

no leo, sagitaius and libra are vvvvv relationship oriented, wheras pisces, taurus, and capricon are not emotionally dependent on relations

emma i have never really noticed it to play out that way, though i must admit that i have never heard of it being calculated by the signs, only the houses. most of my planets are on the right (western) side of my chart and i have been accused over and again of being too single-minded, self-determined, etc. my MOON and jupiter and NN are in the eastern half. and jupiter is in 12th retrograde!

if we look at signs and personal planets (sun, moon, mercury, benus and mars) i have all as follows (WH, WH, WH, WH, and EH) so i am WHP and i definetly feel it.

so i think you are fairly EHP as all your signs are eastern. in a way you get balance as all signs are predominantly eastern but are in west houses.

let me quote some excerpt from her book

so just as an example, according to her extreme hemisphere imbalances sign wise may results as follows in MEN:

"when majority of planets are in WH can make one insecure and lacking in confidence..such person may be overly concrend about others opinion of him/her, and need othrs approval....such people can easily be taken advantage of by friends...they pay excessive attention to their loved ones and need constant show of love..they will break up from a meeting to just give you a call that they will be late, fearing that you wll be worried....they expend so much energy on loved ones that they have no time for theorselves"

Now a man with EH imbalance

"they are preoccupied wth their own needs and may not mind if their partner does not pay them constant attention. ..they have obssessive levels of independence...they will rarely turn to others for helo not even family and friends. they dont want to feel obligated to anyone cause they think help has strings attached and thet dont want to compromise their independence. they think people who are oferring help are invading their personal space and freedom. they are not comfortable with needing others and don't long to be needed. ....it can be difficlut to acheive genuine emotional intimacy with a man who is extereme EH"

she has a whole chapter on it and looks at various other factors...and she also talks abt gender...she says...men with EH imB are more problem than women with EH imBalance. as women by nature are relationship oriented so it kin a compensates.
