Do you know anyone with Aquarius Rising ? Or maybe you are one ?

If so, please share all your opinions/ experiences I would like to see what they have in common..

Do you think its effect is apparent even with Water suns/moons ?

indubitably!! i am that - aqua rising. as is one of my best friends, my sister-in-law, can't think who else right now. and yes it's very apparent despite my FIRST house pisces moon...i am super responsive to uranus transits, and certainly look the part, born as i was with a white streak in the front of my hair, and no matter what i do i cannot seem to dress in a way that "straight" people consider normal. life is full of disruptions, which i welcome, and my mother used to complain that i would "never get anywhere if i kept changing direction" but - i have been LOTS of anywheres and loved them all...

but i can't do corporations, and am the bane of bosses or anyone who would like to condescend to me...i am grandaughter to one of the (millions of) kings of ireland!

My dad is Aquarius rising (aries sun, aquarius moon)

He's definitely "out there". Very quirky and playful/childlike sense of humor. He likes weird and unconventional ideas/art/music/etc. And he is *obsessed* with outerspace.

I'm an Aquarius rising. Scorpio sun, Cancer moon.

I'm very friendly, I've been told, and I'm very open in conversation, even with people I barely know. I'll talk about all my metaphysical stuff and they'll look at me like I have three heads, but it doesn't stop me the next time. I see that as my Aqua coming through. I don't think I give off a typical Scorpio vibe unless I'm stepped on or I perceive that someone's taking advantage or being real abusive... then it comes out full force.

I'm restless. Unless I love what I'm doing, I'm looking to multitask to save myself from boredom. I work in spurts of creativity. When I'm hot, I can produce like nobody's business. When I'm uninspired, I'm a boss' worst nightmare. I worked at a defense position as an attorney for a few years which required me to keep track of my hours in increments of 1/6 of an hour. I had to keep track of every phone call, every letter written, every bit of legal research. I was godawful at this time record keeping and always being lectured by the head partner for not capturing all my time. I had to quit, because it was emotionally painful for me to know I was working hard but it wasn't being appreciated because my numbers didn't add up. All that counted in that job was the numbers at the end of the month. Horrible.

I am not the type to wear multicolored Pippi Longstocking clothes, but I hate to wear what everyone else is wearing. My husband has been asking me for years whether I want a Coach handbag and I keep saying no, I don't want to be a Coach clone, even though I like some of their products. It's the principal of the thing. My clothes have to be just a wee bit different than most people's. But not so different that I stand out like the girls with purple stripes in their hair and green nail polish.

Emotionally, I'm all Cancer moon but it doesn't show unless I'm crying in the midst of a real crisis, and for that I have to be pushed to the very edge. I do come off as a bit cool sometimes (even if I try not to), like "I have it together" (so I've been told). I can be all raging emotions underneath, but smiling on the outside. Don't know why I do that, it even annoys me.

I want to help address hunger and poverty, to help the homeless. These are things that I feel very deeply. Haven't done anything I consider worthy of my abilities in that respect, but it's a long term goal I have.

I hate my lower half. My legs were described once by a man as "tree trunks" and it's objectively true. I read somewhere that Aquarius rising gives a tendency to "strong" legs. Well, mine look muscular but too thick. Ugh. Bane of my existence. I have the "big eyes".

I have a really overactive nervous system. When I'm emotionally upset, my nervous tic will start. I had it as a child and it wasn't easy to deal with. It can come back at any time under the right circumstances. I'm always playing with something, e.g., twirling my hair, picking at my skin, pulling out hair. I'm very jumpy - if you sneak up behind me I jump to the ceiling.

Can't think of anything else right now, but if you have questions, feel free to ask!

augentier, that's an exact description of the man in my life who is Aqua Sun & ASC (and Mercury) :-) Difficult to separate the ASC from the Sun, though.

My mom (Scorpio sun, Aries moon and Aqua rising) and a past friend (Aries sun, Aries moon, and Aqua rising).

Something I have noticed is that they tend space out, or have a look on their face like they are deeply analyzing something. They also have a past of wild experiences. They both have Aries moons so, a reason why my relationship with both of them is extremely turbulent. Which is why she is out of my life, and why I am not very open or close with my mother. (Okay, this is going off into another topic). But having that Aqua intellect, and a knack for welcoming all walks of life is what makes me respect them.

I am an aquarius rising, with my sun in virgo and moon in sagittarius.

I can really see myself in alot of the things that Jugular described!

In addition I can say that I feel very strongly about fairness. It sounds like such a clichée, but it's true. I can accept most things, but not when people are being unfair. To me it is very important that people get credited for what they do.

In discussions sometimes people don't understand what I am trying to say. I find it very frustrating when I hear people saying what I was saying a few sentences later.

I think that my virgo sun hides my aquarian sides behind a "tidy" appearance, and when someone get to know me well they are often surprised by my more "quirky" ideas and opinions!

My sagittarius moon and aguarius rising get bored with my orderly virgo sun, and that's often when I do something radical to stir things up a bit! (Not too radical, obviously, my virgo sun would never allow it..

aqua rising, cancer sun & moon.
i think i feel that my feminine (cancer) and my masculine (aqua) sides are clashing inside more than what is normal. my uranus is very strong, i am natural rebel and cannot deal with authorities. on the other hand, i love to work in a team and i don't mind having a boss to guide me or instruct me - as long as he does not question my own knowledge.
i tend to go to extremes - you can call that drama queen, but i do tend to think it is question of life and death when it comes to dealing with everyday problems and decisions.
i have many friends, have changed many countries and i still maintain everyday contact with majority of these people.
have no problems of communicating with new people - i even love small life situation challenges like being on a party where i don't know anybody!
but, i do love being alone and on my own. i love having saturday mornings for myself.
i am very sensitive to the same thing as brightlight - fairness and when someone takes credit for something they didn't do, or simply cannot handle arrogance and unhumbleness.
i definitely dress very differently - love to mix vintage looks and new minimalist stuff.
am tall and athletic, tiny long legs and arms.

I'm an Aqua rising and I definitely come off as aloof. I also have a Virgo moon which makes me even more aloof and people say I look like an Ice Queen! I don't have a super crazy style but my style is definitely different I change my hair color a lot! I wear clothes that no one else wears a lot of people describe my style as unique and that only I can pull off the things I wear. I can get a long with anyone I have talked to anyone from homeless people on the city train to classy business type folks. I have tons of aquintances! I makes my friends mostly by relating to intellectual things we have in common. I like fairness I try to stay balanced on my opinions and not jump to conclusions. I give off the vibe like I'm open but still somewhat detached.

In common?
Friendly, frank, open. Easy to get to know.
Can't say they're weird or eccentric.
Stubborn is apt, but then it's Fixed.
(the ones I've known)
Oh and they want a partner that makes em look GOOD.
And they're sweeter on the inside than they let on.
Clingy once you get to know em.
Affectionate, sweet.
Oh and they're VERY demanding of attention.

Another good rising sign post

I have Aquarius rising at 12 degrees. All my life, I've had a feeling I was "different" and "special". I was called weirdo everyday in grade school, but it never bothered me, because that what I am. I didn't like dressing like the other kids; but because I was raised middle class, I wore alot of hand-me-downs, but I worked it! LOL.

I don't like famous people who claim they are avant-garde and/or cutting edge. Like Lady Gaga and Daphne Guiness. I don't get their "brand". We Aquaius rising people can tell the real from the fakes. Grace Jones, Salvidor Dali, and Tim Burton are TRUE eccentrics in my book.

I don't dress like an Aquarius rising either. I don't dress to shock, especially of the type of extablishment I work for. But I am inspired by punk fashion...I'm kinda envious of it, because I'd love to dress that way....everyday... but I feel so conformed! lol

There ya go.
