Saturn and Uranus are exactly opposite

in the sky on US election day, November 4 2008. The opposition occurs

at 19 degrees of Virgo/Pisces, especially affecting people with

birthdays around September 11 and March 9, and anyone who has

significant points in their chart on or aspecting these degrees.

The opposition repeats at later degrees of Virgo/Pisces on February 5

and September 15 2009, and on April 26 and July 26 2010 (0 degree

Libra/Aries). Given that the orbs of influence with slow-moving planets

mean we feel them before and after the aspects are exact, we have a two

year plus window of time in which these two planets oppose each other.

This happens every 45.4 years, and the last time was 1965-67 and before

that, 1918-1920.

natally, my ic-mc axis is at 18 virgo/pisces and saturn at 27 virgo opposes venus at 28 pisces

interesting... it is also my saturn return for one more year because of the retrogradation

There is an old saying about there being no atheists in foxholes. We are gradually moving into an astrological dynamic that will recall the wisdom of this adage. By gradually, I mean during the next three years, as Saturn, Uranus and Pluto create a cardinal T-square on the Aries Point. We are close enough to be feeling and seeing the effects of this dynamic now. This came up in a brief email dialog with Rick Tarnas late this week about Kaila’s chart — her natal Saturn-Uranus conjunction, which is being activated now by the current Saturn-Uranus opposition. In 2007, Pluto went over the 1988 Sat/Ur conjunction, setting off an explosive dynamic for all of these 19 year old kids. They are 20 or 21 now and are still under the effects of this transit, because such powerful Pluto transits tend to be among what I call ‘threshold transits’ — they are gateways, rather than transient events; and they have aftershocks.

On and around the 15 September 09, my Chiron at 24* Pisces will be taking a hiding, however I have Saturn at 27* and Moon 29*40 Gemini so yes it will all be very interesting for the next year with this.

At that time I will have just finished my final Saturn conjunctions to a solar stellium that incl. Ura/Plu in 8th.

Also, Neptune on the same late degrees(aqu) is opposing my Venus 0*Virgo and trining my Moon. Chiron and Jupiter will also be contacting these planets throughout this time period. And Jupiter will also conjunct Chiron/Saturn and square Moon, and trine itself during 2010.

Pluto, will be impacting my Moon and Venus 15 Sept in particular and significantly this will be the final transit it will make in the zeroes of Cap. Pluto misses my Venus by trine by only 24' but I still think its trine contact is relevant. When it last transited to the exact in early December 08 there was nothing significant other than that I came back onto the internet after over 3 years, and also several changes and developments were set in motion.

So the next couple of years will be very weird and probably life significant. I see it all playing out in the following possibilities:

~I'm goin to be turned inside out and presenting a new image in my work and career, which involves tertiary education, and a corporate persona/conduct/discipline. As a registered nurse(only student now)you can get deregistered or at least be brought before the board for any offence greater than a parking fine. Saturn will be conj my MC in the first few months of graduating. So it seems that I should succeed, though the graphic footage of autopsies(Saturn trans my 8th stellium) is seriously testing me, and I'm finding obstacles with getting my immunisation status up to completion(which is presently seen as a big handicap at the moment).

~ also, perhaps I will consider relocation for increased space to either give more room on the interior or perhaps more expanse and better locale on the exterior.

~ maybe, I will discover that I have expertise in an area(above average, or more than I perceive now anyway), although presently feeling like a bit of a dud with my inconsistent/haphazard methods of going about things.

~ I'm projected to lose considerably in some kind of asset/finance deal but I think another perspective will be that I lose to gain over a time(but gawd,*holding onto my purse, rofl*)

~ and there is some kind of relationship kerfuffle...something about feeling obligated on my part to appease demands that better suit another - I mean c'mon how will that happen

~ also yeah,sad to say, something about he and I being 'chalk and cheese', I think I'm the cheese on the platter with a selection of cheeses - and, the old one at that! Nah, looks like I will be an Edam. A dutch milk 'set' with a red rind(skin- !). No way, I can't figure in that kind of subservient stereotypical female aquiescence, fer chrissakes! Oh yeah, it's becoming clear...I'm gonna be a total fool!! *sob*
