Your 6th ruler, Mercury, is aspecting planets. Look for the best aspects and take that planet as what it should be.

Conjunction to Venus.

Think of Libra/7th house related matters and that is your ideal job. A go-between/middleperson. Shadow of someone. Maybe even working with the opposite sex.
Just think of 7th house type stuff... I dont think beauty therapy is anything Libra type.

I forget Taurus too. Money is an obvious one for that.

Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated.

Write

Definitely enjoy working with details - something I can just focus myself on fully and definitely interested in my own business. Nutrition is definitely on my mind.

Coffee

Good points. I always neglect the house rulers. The Mercury-Venus conjunction is a bit wide - I never really think of it. It's kind of embedded in my brain that Mercury is unaspected . You're right though - definitely feels right. Hmm - good point. Definitely something to consider. Or ideally - money and 7th house - if I could just marry someone really wealthy and be some kind of trophy wife. Somehow I don't think that's me - but I'm sure I could learn.

Thanks.

I would say straight up the healing arts and even astrology

Your Chiron and Uranus are both prominent

with your Chiron-Uranus opposition on the Ascendant/Descendant axis and closely squaring your Midheaven/Imum Coeli axis

I can't see any 9-5 routine, boring stuff with you......not with that configuration that I just mentioned.

Your prominent Uranus indicates a novelty-seeker. You could even be one of those DRD4 7R gene (The Edison Gene in Thom Hartmann's book) types.

You're better off working for yourself and not having a boss. Uranus in hard aspect aspect to the Midheaven is common in people that are self employed and are very unconventional and independent to the point that they can be rebellious and have a hard time working for others. Uranus rules Astrology, and professionals astrologers are self-employed. Astrology is an unconventional field to have a career in. It also involves computers/technology. Uranus rules computer/technology. Chiron is also a nonconformist type of energy too because it's a centaur that has highly eccentric orbit and orbits off the ecliptic, and you have that in hard aspect to the Midheaven as well. It could indicate that you could have problems with career and bosses because you're a maverick. It could indicate some type of wounds, pain involving the career, social status that you have get to get healed, but it also can indicate that you can be a type of teacher and healer. Using your history of pain to be compassionate.

Sun in Aries in 1st square Midheaven can indicate the ego, self expression can be in conflict in the career which can make it hard for you to have a boss. A career involve you taking "center stage",being a luminary, self expression, and even having fun.
The strong Aries influence (Sun,Mercury,Venus) is a strong theme for independence, assertiveness, taking action, and initiative with it being the first cardinal sign of the zodiac and being ruled by Mars.

I think that you would get very bored with mundane, routine type of things.

Pluto in Virgo in 6th fits with being in the healing arts, and definitely indicates high degree of concentration, focus, in work, daily routine, and organization. Transformative in the work environment.

Your Saturn is closely trine the Midheaven which can indicate that there can be stability, responsibility, structure in career, but squares tend to be stronger aspects than trines. That's why they are seen as event-oriented aspects in Cosmobiology. I think that Uranus square Midheaven overrides that Saturn trine Midheaven. that whole Uranus-Chiron square Midheaven seems to override it......especially with it being on your Ascendant/Descendant axis.

Moon in Aquarius in 11th adds to the strong Independence theme of your prominent Uranus on the Ascendant and square the Midheaven axis. It is also a placement for being a humanitarian and involved in the community in some way.

Your North Lunar Node in Pisces in 12th seems to indicate that your evolutionary lesson is about being involved in selfless service, spirituality, idealism. The South Lunar Node in Virgo in 6th seems to indicate that your past and instinct involves routine, organization, and dealing with details too. Pisces/Virgo,12th/6th are a health/service axis too.

I believe that you have a healer's chart.

Raymond

Wow Raymond.

That is absolutely spot on. I cannot do mundane 9 to 5 work and I definitely can't work for anyone else or do the same things every day. But I have enormous concentration and focus and can sit for hours as long as it's undisturbed and focus intently. I don't like working with other people because I like to do my own thing and I can't be told what to do. I'm currently studying IT - life just landed me in this course, it kind of happened by itself - and I'm enjoy it and have always had a knack and great affinity with computers and software. Right about wounds and pain in the workplace - it brings out my worst - lots of anxieties. I function well in an environment where I can just by myself, without restriction - any situation where I'm expected to behave in a certain way I can't deal with and avoid.

Definitely feel/believe that I'm a healer and/or teacher. Just not sure how to go about that - which area to concentrate. Yoga and/or nutrition are high on my list at the moment.

Interesting about astrology. I've spoken with iQ and using asteroids - I have AstroWizard on the Galactic Centre degree. Also, Angel and Talent on the same degree in Aquarius in 11th house - so being a humanitarian/compassionate angel is my calling as iQ said. I look at you and a number of other Knowflakes and think to myself that you are such outstanding astrologers that in comparison, I don't even rate. There's potential there. The IT course is teaching me that somehow I can actually function in the day-to-day world on my own terms and to believe in myself. Maybe that's the missing link at the moment.

Thanks. What you said was so precise. Some of the above points are personal and I wouldn't normally reveal them, but I wanted to give you the confirmation of your work and brilliance. Thank you.

I've had a really quick look at some Edison Gene information. Fascinating. Can relate to the very little that I've read so far (it's 3am). Will look at it intently tomorrow (or later today as it technically is). Thanks for that too.

Raymond

You added more while I was typing my post. Yes, again, spot on. And it's that North Node in Pisces in 12th that is my passion. I'm totally devoted to my spiritual growth - and it's my passion, my love, my discipline, joy - everything.

You know how sometimes you just need someone else to tell you something - you know in the back of your mind - but there's just some experience in life that makes you question or doubt yourself or think that others won't see that magic or part of you?

I know I'm a healer, but some part of me just doesn't believe it.

What you've said is confirmation to me and it helps me believe in myself. You know, you can offer someone words or wisdom or astrological interpretation, but when you give someone a piece of their puzzle, that's just really special.

you can also check the following asteroids for Astrology

Astrowizard
Stargazer
Astronomia
Astrometria
Urania - muse of Astronomy
Kepler - named after astronomer/astrologer,Johannes Kepler, astrology program named him
Asteraude - French for Asteroid
Zvezdotchet - Russian for stargazer

the following asteroids for Healing Arts

Hygeia - Greek Goddess of Health
Asclepius - Greek God of Medicine
Aesculapia - Roman Counterpart of Asclepius
Hippokrates - ancient Greek doctor
Reiki
Panacaea - Greek Goddess of Healing
Apollo - Greek/Roman God of Light,Healing, father of Asclepius
Herba - could be used for herbs

Vesta relates to service mainly...seems very Virgo-like.

also Ceres can be involved too because it's associated with nurturing.

those 2 major asteroids are what I would check out in the charts of healers

Pallas might also be involved with counselors with it seeming to be more of a mental asteroid. It seems to be associated with creative intelligence and pattern recognition.

Psyche is an asteroid that could pertain to psychology, psychiatry, and psychic work

go to this page and just add the asteroids http://www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/add/

then go to this page and put all your birthdata http://www.megadelfi.com/~jonathan/pos/

put a check in the box where it says "show bodies" and then type in the asteroids

the nodes of objects besides the Moon can be significant. the heliocentric nodes of all objects are very slow moving than outerplanets, and they can be about collective karma. the geocentric nodes of asteroids,Mercury,Venus, and Mars are fast moving, and so they can be about personal karma and can be used in synastry. the geocentric nodes of Jupiter,Saturn, the outerplanets, centaurs, and kuiper belt objects are slow moving and have to do with collective karma.

put checks on the boxes
NNode for North Node
SNode for South Node

then submit

for heliocentric Nodes

where it says Center, change to heliocentric
put checks on the boxes for NNode and SNode

then submit

I checked for connections to nodes
only conjunction,opposition,trine,square,sextile

2 degree orb for planetary node...as well as the dwarf planets that include Ceres,Pluto,Eris,Makemake,Haumea

1 degree orb for nodes of minor planets( asteroid, kuiper, centaur)

from what I see in your chart with the heliocentric Nodes being so slow moving

Venus conjunct Heliocentric South Chiron Node
Mars conjunct Heliocentric North Mercury Node
Mars conjunct Heliocentric North Mars Node
Mars square Heliocentric Panacea Nodes
Moon conjunct Heliocentric South Neptune Node
Sun trine/sextile Heliocentric Neptune Nodes
Lunar Nodes trine/sextile Heliocentric Jupiter Nodes
Neptune sextile/trine Heliocentric Asclepius Nodes
Mercury square Heliocentric Pluto Nodes
Mars sextile/trine Heliocentric Pluto Nodes

Hi Peace Angel,

Raymond is soooo spot on the money with this one. My first impression was also the Uranus-Chiron opposition straddling your ASC/DC Axis. And since they both square your Midheaven my first thought was, "Oh, this lady is a healer and business woman."

Your Moon-Saturn square suggests tremendous ambition. I like to call it "The Chaplin/Spielberg Aspect". Not because it has anything to do with film making, it has to do with ambition and business. I have it too and I'm learning to dig in my 2nd half of life. First half of life it was all about my difficult father and mostly absent mother, now I get to reap the rewards of all that misery by being good at business, and I'm just at the beginning of that now.

I see from your chart that you're not much younger than me so it's definitely time to put all of this into action.

Nothing more to say, Raymond has said it all.

Thanks Raymond for listing all those asteroids having to do with astrology. I'm going to check them all now for myself.

EDIT: Holy Moly! I just checked my asteroids and my real name asteroid is exactly conjunct Astrowizard the asteroid. Well...let's just say I'm freaked out for the rest of the day... Have a good one everybody.

I am also a believer in Visual Astrology. I believe that star paran system works. I am becoming skeptical of projecting stars onto the ecliptic. I believe that the mythology of the constellations and stars are very insightful and central to the star's meaning. When we project the stars onto the ecliptic, we force the stars to conform with our Sun's way of life. The stars energies are supposed to be independent of that. Working with the planets on the ecliptic makes sense because they are part of our solar system.

the following is from Bernadette Brady author of BRADY'S BOOK OF FIXED STARS

Heliacal Rising Star:
The star rising with the Sun.

This is the star that has been walking the path of the underworld and has now emerged to be visible in the world of humans. This is the star that you were born under and it will bear gifts to you from the land of your past, your family and your genetics. It is your gift, the jewel or the treasure, which your ancestors handed you at your birth. This star is a theme in your life, helps to build your philosophies, and can at times take on a vocational pulse.

Heliacal Setting Star:
The star setting as the Sun rises

This is the star that has been living amongst the immortals of the pole, and has now, at the time of your birth, returned to earth. It is a gift or treasure given to you from your spirit, from your immortal soul, from your daemon. This star represents goals that you reach for, vocations that motivate you, and the spiritual pathways that you seek. This star represents your doorway to the immortals, or your journey towards a fulfilled life. That which gives you the greatest happiness.

Stars form links or parans, via the angles of your chart. If a planet is at a key point of its daily movement, either Rising, Setting, Culminating or at Nadir, and at the same time a star is also at one of these key points in its daily movement, then the star is in paran to that planet. The angle that the star occupies also tells us the period of your life when the mythology of the star will be expressed. If the star is rising then it affects your youth, if the culminating then the prime of your life, if setting the latter years, and if lower the star is a foundation, or summary statement concerning your life.
star periods

here is a list of absolutely essential stars

THE FOUR ROYAL STARS OF PERSIA: EARLY CARDINAL POINTS

Aldebaran, in Taurus. Considered by Anonymous of 379 to be the greatest star of all. Linked with integrity and honesty.

Antares, in Scorpius. Linked with obsession;intense, and probing

Fomalhaut, in Pisces Australis. Related to ideals and dreams.

Regulus, in Leo. Linked with success without revenge.

All of these four stars are quite special. Each one brings its own unique type of life journey and lessons. Each one gives power and promises success, but only if you can deal with the particular hurdles that will be placed in front of you. Each star represents a specific type of human dilemma or weakness. The presence of any of these four stars in your chart will add a considerable amount of mythology to your life's journey.

THE STARS OF ORION

Rigel (located in Orion's foot). Linked with giving knowledge to or teaching others.
Betelgeuse (in the right armpit or shoulder). Indicates victory, success, achievement.
Bellatrix (in the left shoulder). Indicates success by facine one's shadow.

These are not the only stars in Orion but these stars radiate achievement. In my own opinion that Betelgeuse is the most auspicious star of all, for the fulfillment it offers seems to be totally uncomplicated by trials and hassles. The presence of one of these stars will be of great benefit if you are striving the achieve something at any level of your life.

OTHER KEY STARS

Sirius, in Canis Major. The brightest star and known as the Dog Star. Gives brilliance.
Spica, in Virgo. Indicates a great gift.
Canopus, in Carina, part of the rudder of the great ship Argo. Augurs pathfinding.

These are probably the most important stars of the sky. There are others that clamor to be on the list, and indeed after working with the stars for a while, you may create your own short list. But if your chart has any of these stars active via parans, then your life will entwined with some of the most ancient and profound myths of the human race.

A LIST OF THE MOST DIFFICULT STARS

Early twentieth-century astrology gave the fixed stars meanings connected with hellfire and destruction. These meanings, I believe, are simply not true and are at times quite strange. However, some stars represent lessons to charts that are definitely more difficult than others. The following list, not in order of difficulty, is just a guide; the meanings of the stars are given in more detail in the sections about their own constellations.

Facies, in Sagittarius. Pure combative energy.
Capulus, in Perseus' sword. Primitive, male, sexual energy;penetrating and ruthless.
Algol, in Perseus' hand. Primitive, female, sexual energy;passionate, intense, and also hysterical in true sense of the word.
Menkar, in Cetus. The unconscious becoming conscious. THe sudden emergence of deep uncosncious issues.
Zosma, in Leo part of the triangle of victim, saviour,or perpetrator.

None of these stars are evil and they can exist in the charts of wonderful people. But each one has its own wounds or worries that will either be owned and worked on or projected onto another, who then seems to embody the worst side of the star's energy.

you can get free parans here http://www.zyntara.com/free_paran_page.html

Thank you for your input also. I love what you said about learning to dig in the 2nd half of life. That's exactly how I feel about it. I feel like everything I've done and learnt to date is what gives me common ground with other people and that from that place I have something to share that can help other people. Like you I have had a very difficult father and absent mother, though she was not physically absent. I was very much and still am, the adult of the three of us. I just turned 39 and the funny thing is that even though that's such a strange age to have a new beginning and chance, that's where I find myself and even that makes me think that in the future, I'll have that and be able to say to people that it's NEVER too late to try or or to begin or to follow your dreams. The funny thing is that I don't feel rushed. I think I should, but I just don't. I felt rushed at 29 and then I had my three children and have been home since then and now they're school age and it's my turn, my time. Being mother is my life, spiritual devotion is my passion, but there's just something missing - some expression. And I yearn for my own business. I've been afraid in the past to pursue it - because I watched my own parents make a disaster out of their efforts with their own business. I woke up this morning and turned the computer on and came to this thread immediately and read your post and Raymond's posts and then jumped in the shower. The thought that came through and that has stuck with me all day - and maybe this resonates with you - is that I've had this lifelong fear of emulating my parents, of being like them and copying their mistakes. This morning's thoughts are that maybe I'm here to succeed where they didn't/couldn't. I believe that we are linked to our parents and that we have familial patterns so that is very prominent. One thing that stands out is that on my father's side, I'm the first in a few generations not to be an alocholic. I simply don't drink. I've seen what it does. But somehow - by fate of the gods - I don't even like the taste of alcohol. So new in my mind - and I'll absorb it soon - is this realisation that I'm not my parents, and while there may be some pattern there, I'm not that person and I have it in my to do and be what better, more or even, just different.

I love that AstroWizard is conjunct your name asteroid. That's magical. My name asteroid is on the same degree as Psyche and they conjunct Sun 2 degrees. Destinn is also conjunct Mars. Ceres is opposite Pluto. Vesta opposite Moon. Hekate is on the same degree of Pluto.

I'm big on signs. Today while out with the kids, I was waiting to turn and a white car drove past with an "L" learner's plate and the first letters of it's registration plate were "YGA". I thought to myself "learn yoga". How funny. I've been thinking about doing a yoga teacher's course for a while now - and pretty much dismissed it as wishful thinking - but this week it's really been strong in my mind. Thought that was a definite sign/confirmation. Funny how the universe works.

Thanks for your time and energy and guidance. It's greatly appreciated. I can't give you the words to say how much - but I hope it registers with you.

Thank you for everything - the interpretations, the links, the information and insights, finding the Heliocentric node information, just everything. There's a great deal of astro and personal research to go on with. Today is also the last day of holidays and back to class tomorrow.

You have brought to light a great deal for my and I'm very appreciative. Again, I can't find enough words and can't convey the depth of sincerity in them, I just hope that my appreciation reaches you as well.

You're a wonderful astrologer and person. I read your posts and I always wonder why it is that you aren't a professional astrologer with your own site and reports. You have enormous talent and gifts.

Thank you.
