I know this does not pertain to astrology and probably should be posted in the Soul Unions section but I wanted everyone to see this..Yeah it's kind of cheesy but everyone's been going through a lot these days..so I wanted to share something.. http://www.osorhan.com/bigo/index.php IP: Logged |

You guys are welcome. My sister gave me this book a long time ago the first time I read it, I was left "Um ok..strange". I've reread again last week and now it makes sense to me, since I've been there as a "missing piece". Also I loved his poems too.<3 IP: Logged |

LOL! X3 You know what it could be interpeted like that. The "missing" piece could be anything you want it to be. A relationship, a career, sex haha. It's like that other book, "Who Stole My Cheese?". IP: Logged |

what a coincidence - i was looking for 'the giving tree' (one of his other books) in the library the other day, and found 'the missing piece' and read it. This one is an upgraded (BIG O!)and hi-tech version.thanks! IP: Logged |

I think this book does have some implications on astrology. It leans quite heavily to the Sagittarian/Aquarian side. For someone to write something like this can be seen as being complete unto himself and actually needing nor wanting nobody.I think Shel Silverstein is a very intriguing person. The fact that he was anti-conformity, playeur and never married does show his take on relationships. His philosophy actually shouldn't be a bible to those who do desire some semblance of interdependence at all - but certainly soothes and offers some solace to those who want out of or are healing from a bad relationship. He is either a Libra, or a Sagittarius (from various google checks). Anyway, both fit his style of writings IP: Logged |
