Hey everybody... hope it's okay to post here (and that I'm not violating any forum rules). I've been working on a new series on astrology that's premiering in the summer. You can get a taste of it at www.starcrossed.tv I've been working for the past couple of years trying to get astrology to be more mainstream and understandable and have been pretty blessed at being able to do that. I would love to see what you think of it when it premieres. Cheers! Astrolo-GIP: Logged |

You know, I would agree if my experience had shown that to be the case, but most people I speak with are searching for answers and just haven't been exposed to astrology in a way that makes sense for them.I'd say about 90 some percent of the people I come across who are open to the conversation with me come away with a newfound interest and respect for it they might not have had before. I like challenging astrology too, which is why I'm able to entertain people who challenge me. IP: Logged |

The number one reaction I get from people is interested skepticism when I say I'm into astrology. Sometimes I come across a person that says "PFF It's bs." but then they'll ask me to read their chart. I've only met one person who flat out refuses to hear anything about it, but he's kind of narrowminded anyway.IP: Logged |

Most places I go and people I speak with have a good interest and understanding about astrology. There is a gap between interest and actual supply of information. There might be the occasional after school/work get-together and a few recognised classes in Great Britain. Maybe one of you can tell me what it is like in America, but I guess Kepler has numerous schools across the country. More in numbers, though not sure if the amounts are equal considering the huge number difference of people between both places. Should be lessons in schools. Will never happen. At least not upfront teaching, maybe an "extra curriculum class" Dont think providing astrology has much in regards to the attitude of the general public. Will have a look at that channel. May not like some of it, I can tell already. IP: Logged |

As much as I love astrology, I always get scared that people will limit me by astrology..thats why I never want it go too mainstream like religion x.xFrom the two years I've been studying astrology, people really have a distaste for Virgos. I mean they don't have to like me or anything but it's really disheartening if someone blows me off over something I can't control i.e my birthday, my skin color. Just because lil Miss Susy Virgo can't keep her legs shut does not mean I can't either. There is some truth to me being a Virgo but thats not the whole story. IP: Logged |

Won't be everybody's cup of tea.Astrology has to be made palatable to those who wouldn't just seek it out simply for astrology's sake. That's what I'm hoping to do. As far as reaching the masses and opening up a new line of conversation that hasn't been there before... We shall see... Wish me luck IP: Logged |

Cheshire cat... I agree with you completely. That's what I'm hoping to throw astrology on its head some. I don't believe in astrology limiting the choices we make for ourselves any more than I think our genetics should. Generally speaking, a Scorpio and a Pisces are supposed to be a great match, right? That's one of the things we tested with Starcrossed. We'll see about that...

For something like....gambling....making money? That would interest people Apply to the persons life on their terms, rather than saying eat this pea soup, which you may or may not like. IP: Logged |

Coffee... sure, those things, but also love, life, everything...People just need to see themselves in a mirror sometimes to figure out why and how they have and are attracting the things to themselves they are. Good and bad. That's my astrology. A mirror on the cosmic scale. IP: Logged |

If it takes the stigmatism, sterotypes and exspands a broader view on astrology and teaches the masses. Then it couldn't hurt lol.IP: Logged |

That's the plan CK. To have everybody step outside of what they think astrology dictates for them IP: Logged |
