I used to go out with a fella with Saturn in 7th... he was hell-bent on marrying me after a year of being together... that's why I ran at 11 months.So I don't know; are they really eternal bachelors? He did have DC and Saturn in Scorpio, though  IP: Logged |

My guy has Saturn in the 7th house and I don't know, he definetly has a fear of marriage, and I believe he loves me so much, but I am not sure that he can do it and I want to..I have Uranuns in the 7th house so this may be part of why he is around me..Oh and the fact that he is a Aquarius doesn't help..Mostly all of them are Commitment phobic.. Saturn in 7th can also be an indicator of structure,discipline,steadiness,maturity in relationshipsit also can be restrictions,limitations,control in relationships too Saturn in 7th might be more of a fear of marriage that's of an extreme caution and it could be connected to lack of trust....this can lead to the point of the person controlling the other in the relationship. The limitations,restrictions,and control in the relationship can be connected.
my exgf has Moon-Saturn in 7th conjunct Pluto in Libra in 7th......she set limits,restrictions,and she controlled the relationship it was based on her trust issues from being hurt in relationships in the past as well as her fear of her mom who hates men because she (my gf's mother) was hurt by my exgf's father. My exgf's mother had an almost exact Juno square Saturn. My exgf's Saturn in 7th seems to echo her mother's Juno square Saturn.
I have Saturn oppose 7th house ruler, Neptune. It's also contraparallel Venus. I have never been married,but I always wanted to be married. I just have been very unfortunate in love/relationships. I am not going to marry just anybody though. My Juno is in Virgo in 1st, and my Juno is on the equator, so it's a strong influence.

It works the same if they have capricorn on the 7th cusp as well. Especiallyfor men more than women..My taurus bf has this placement.. He fears marriage. Also he has an aqu moon. Who cares let them miss out on the joys of life. These people are scared of their own shadow. Who has a fear of marriage? Theyre just idiots or players. Marriage is a bautiful union and commitment to another person. Low self esteem issues play a big role in this. Yeaaa im angryyyyy coz i lived this 9 years. HahAAHAHA :* ------------------

I'm an Aqua with Saturn AND Uranus in the 7th conjunct my DSC (which is in Sagittarius), but I'm not scared of it or anything. I think about it a lot and wouldn't mind getting married right now actually. Like if my boyfriend proposed to me tomorrow, I would say yes. You'd think I'd be a lone wolf.The only thing I'm worried about with this placement is the divorce when I'm 30 because of my Saturn Return. I think Saturn in the 7th will mean someone who takes a more serious approach to marriage. That can lead to fear sometimes. IP: Logged |

Well he's been my boyfriend for over two years.He's nervous about marriage, though... he was in an 8 year marriage that ended badly so now he's extra freaked out.  I had to laugh when I read this thread and then went to look at his chart to see that Saturn was right there. HA! IP: Logged |

Being controlling in relationships sounds more typical of Saturn in 7th; Saturn wants control and 7th house is after all the house of relationships... but like I said, perhaps my ex's Saturn placement in Scorpio didn't help; he was very physically abusive towards me. He stopped when I "complied", but I'm not one to serve others; I'm a 1st house Uranus; I need my freedom and to be able to do what I want! That's why he was abusive and that's why I ran.I'm also somewhat of a commitment-phobe and the only Saturn aspect I have is conjunct Sun. Sun just in 11th house and Saturn technically still in 12th house. I'm very hard on myself but that wouldn't make me a commitment-phobe. So perhaps we're looking at the wrong thing here; Aquarius is the great commitment-phobe, but Sagittarius also prefers freedom to go where he wants. Maybe we should look at those two; two influences that I have plenty of. And trust me, I'm a HUGE commitment-phobe! IP: Logged |

Thankyou Yin, I don't believe its either one way or the other for everyone with that placement..But I do believe other factors may play a huge part of why one WOULD get married at a I guess normal age..Some one said Saturn is the 7th house ppl can be controlling in relationships..Uh my guy its subtle but he is.. To a degree I think I am a commitment phobic I am getting better bc I am recognizing it and working on it. I have Uraus in the 7th house that along with all that Aqua I have in my chart and some life experiences I think makes me feel that way... IP: Logged |
