two weeks after his wife filed for divorce he is already in public with some totally (smoking) hot chick. UGH. I hope his wife takes him straight to the cleaners.

The story goes that he and his wife have been seperated for around three years. He'd be totally gutted about his marriage, I think, even after that time. So moving on would be hard for him. I hope he finds love. Everyone deserves that.

EDIT: She's supposed to be around 39 so it's not like he's chasing someone just legal to perk up his self-esteem, etc. Hey - she's my age! I wonder.............

Honestly, I don`t feel for either of them.

yeah i guess the fact that the "other woman" was so hot kinda made me feel bad for her (the wife). i felt bad for bruce willis too when demi came toting ashton on her arm.
more or less the public of it all and the hot factor makes it all kinda worse.

i don't really have to know someone to feel bad for them in certain situations. i cry over perfect strangers hurt kids in the news too. sometimes lose sleep thinking about some of those abused babies. too much news can get to ya, whether you know the people or not.

Oh, I can cry over the news, too, especially if it involves crimes against the helpless like kids for example.

But I do not feel the same way about the divorce of some actor I don`t even know.
Not because I think it`s not bad, it certainly is, and I can be compassionate in an unpersonal and detached way about it.

But the thing is I`m generally feeling bad that yet another marriage has failed.
But I don`t have a personal opinion on who is to blame and who is the "victim", as I do not have enough informations to form an opinion.

Of course it`s always hard to see your Ex with a new flame, and it is probably worse if it happens in the public eye, but I just don`t know what happened between them before, so I can`t have an opinion.

That`s how I feel about it anyway.

Oh and regarding the news, I am taking a "time out" now and then, deliberately not reading the newspaper, and those 2 days usually feel like holiday. The news really can get me down sometimes.

Just throwing a thought into the wind, but maybe she is glad to get rid of him? She might be thrilled with her new found freedom and not care less who he is consorting with in public or private.

How people secretly feel can sometimes be way outside of our immediate assumptions. As I have found in the past when personal confidences have headed my way.

that was exactly what I was thinking at first. Maybe she isnīt soo unhappy at all to get rid of him.

I think 30 years of marriage are a very long time, and there is probably a good reason for the divorce, be it unfaithfulness, alcoholism, or just a basic incompatibility that can`t be "sugercoated" by animalistic passion anymore.
