Actually, I was pretty convinced that I should switch to Equal, especially since in Placidus the houses can become ridiculously big or small, if you have been born in Sweden at certain times.

However, I put it to the test.
When I met a Swedish woman, I made two chart comparisions for her, one with Equal, one with Placidus.
It was right at the beginning of our friendship, so I didn`t know her all that well.

However I was pretty sure she would say the one, where I used Equal, would describe her the best, as she is one of those cases with VERY unequal distribution of houses.
Her ASC is on 14 Cancer and her IC is on 14 Leo!

Still, she definitely told me the one I did, using Placidus, described her and her experiences almost painfully accurate.

I was very surprised, but I have put it to the test again and again, and Placidus is the one that works best.

For me that is. Maybe others can have the same results with other housesystems; I apparently can interprete a chart in a correct way only when using Placidus.
