When it comes to Pluto cotacting personal planets in synastry, who is supposed to feel the effect of obession more: the Pluto or the planet person?

Would the effect differ according to the nature of the aspect?

Planet person would feel it.
So would Pluto person if Pluto makes aspects to their own personal planets in their natal charts.

Of course the different aspects would be felt differently. A sextile and a square are different.

But if someone for instance has Pluto square Venus in their own chart, then another person's Pluto is going to square it in synastry always if they're born within the same generation, so it might not 'mean' anything....unless the degrees are tighter.

I also heard a theory that says the planet person is generally obsessed with the Pluto owner, but Pluto would be obsessed with dominating the planet person.

I hear that too, but I don't necessarily buy it. In some ways the Pluto person has the 'upper' hand, maybe, but again, if the Pluto person has personal planets in their chart making aspects to Pluto, then they WILL also be 'obsessed'. And they might not have the upper hand. They'd be slaves to their obsession. That is not having an upper hand, I feel.

Usually the planet you contribute to an aspect will be triggered inside you.
If you`re Venus in an aspect, your love nature will be stimulated for example.

That means if you`re Pluto, your Pluto nature will be stimulated, meaning YOU will be the most obsessed.

BUT in the case of outer planets it`sometimes or often happens that peopld don`t connect directly or instantly to those outer planetary energies.
Often that can lead to a situation, in which they project those energies of the other person, which makes them see their own obsession in the Venus-Person for example.

It seems to be easier to connect to these energies, if Pluto is aspecting a personal planet natally, and THEN the Pluto person will probably also feel and accept they are the ones who are obsessed.

BTW also check the ruler of 8th house for being slightly or really obsessed.

DD, what you said about the nature of the planet being stimulated through the aspect makes a lot of sense.

I was thinking about this theory that says that aspects to personal planets in synastry should be seen as temporary transits, in the sense that you feel compelled to act in a certain way around a certain person. Following that train of thought, wouldn't that mean that the nature of the planet is colored or modified by the influence of the other planet aspecting it? In the case of Venus Pluto contacts for example, wouldn't it also make sense for the Venus person to feel obsessed if the Pluto energy stimulates them and modifies that aspect of their self, adding a different dimension to it?

Yes, definitely agree, Ruben.

It may be your Venus-nature that is being stimulated, and you act in a Venusian way, feeling attracted and so on.
BUT of course it is a huge difference, if it`s the other person`s Pluto or Sun or Mercury aspecting your Venus.

With Venus-Pluto you´re probably attracted to the intensity you see in the other person, which in turn can lead you to feel obsessed, even though you react to the obsessive intensity the Pluto person is exhibiting.

Was that very confusing now?
I hope you know what i mean.

If you have pluto strongly in your chart, and then are pluto in synastry...forget it, you are the obsessed one i think. it all really depends on many factors.
